    GLP-1 Insurance Woes in '26?

Yeah, it seems like insurance won't touch Ozempic unless you're diabetic.

    GLP-1 Insurance Woes in '26?

I started Wegovy shortly after it was approved. At the time, my husband's insurance covered it. I lost about 60 pounds and reached my goal weight. My oncologist was happy, since weight is a problem with cancer and my artificial leg. But last year I went on Medicare, so no coverage for weight...

    Skin acting up on meds?

Like others have said, fat cells store toxins. Your liver should process them, unless the weight loss is too fast. Drink lots of water, eat healthy foods. Pooping is also important lol, but I know that can be hard on these meds.

Tirz plateau - switch to reta?

I saw a post from someone who had gastric sleeve surgery and regained the weight. They're now on a low dose of semaglutide. It sounds like the sema is helping them with the 'food noise' aspect that the sleeve didn't address.

Tirz plateau - switch to reta?

I would've said the same thing. When I was taking 7.5 mg of Tirz per week, it barely worked, and I even gained a couple of pounds. Once I went up to 10 mg, the weight loss started again, and I stayed at 10 for months.

    Do *you* see the difference?

That's an amazing loss! I still feel huge when I look in the mirror, but I'm always surprised (in a good way!) when I see pictures.

    Do *you* see the difference?

Thanks for posting! Quick reminder: no discussing non-approved versions of these meds or trying to buy/sell anything. If someone PMs you offering something, ignore them!

    Halfway to Onederland!

How do folks deal with the sulfur burps? Does that ever stop? I just had my 2nd injection. Feels like I can't trust anything coming out of my backside.

    Zepbound making me ITCH!

Oh man, that sounds awful! Glad you figured it out, though. I'll keep an eye out for that kind of thing.

    Zepbound making me ITCH!

I wouldn't keep using it. The immune system can become overly sensitive and react to MORE things. I ended up in the ER a few times from a fish allergy, then got hives from a supplement. It was one thing after another. Had to carry an EpiPen. Plus, some allergy meds aren't good for your brain.

Thin privilege? It's real after GLP-1s!

This whole thread has just made me smile, congrats on the weight loss everyone. I seriously cannot WAIT to be thin and privileged one day soon.

Thin privilege? It's real after GLP-1s!

Just being able to order clothes in regular sizes still blows my mind. Straight-sized stores are overwhelming with options! But I love when something arrives and it actually fits! Being a solid XL is amazing.

    Tirz stability after mixing?

Wow, I thought I'd read everything about BAC water, but I've never heard about adding NaCl. For what it's worth, I've been mixing tirz for a while and I don't stress about shelf life.

Skin, Hair & GLP-1 Reality Check

The "mirror shock" part hit me. YES. I still grab size XL out of habit and then I'm swimming in it. But then I fixate on my neck skin like that's all anyone sees. It's such a mind game.
