Will I finally fit on the rides?

327 down to 233 with the ride fitting as the actual milestone is a good way to measure this - that kind of goal tends to hit harder than the number on the scale.

    Vendor Status: "Restricted"?

The non-custodial wallet step matters for transaction privacy - PayPal direct to vendor creates a documented record on both sides. The intermediary layer the guides recommend exists to reduce that exposure.

    Restarting at the Lowest Dose?!

Insurance reset at 0.25 is a common obstacle - retitration to your previous level usually takes 4-6 weeks. The biology doesn't reset, just the paperwork.

    Wegovy stalled after switch?

Someone I follow online posted about their year-long progress and it was really motivating! They lost a significant amount of weight using sema and then tirz. It's great to see the long-term results and remember to keep going even when things get tough.

    Wegovy stalled after switch?

That's frustrating. Sometimes it's about dose changes or lifestyle fixes instead of the drug by itself. A telehealth provider helped me when my progress slowed down.

    Down 26, feelin' good!

So true! I've been on sema for a while now, and honestly, the way it's changed my relationship with food is more valuable than the weight loss itself.

    You look beautiful.

    Protein shakes: flavor burnout?

Totally! I basically don't enjoy coffee anymore, it just doesn't taste good to me now.

Zepbound not working for me. help!

Yep, Exactly! That's why I went back to sema. Zep just wasn't it for me.

    Protein shakes: flavor burnout?

Isopure clear protein powder mixed with water or a sugar free drink mix is a good option. Those pre-made protein drinks from the big box stores got old really fast!

Zepbound not working for me. help!

I had a similar issue with Zepbound! Didn't work well for me. I switched back to semaglutide and started losing again! I switched because everyone said tirzepatide was better, but it wasn't for me. Even my bloodwork got worse on Zepbound. Glad there are options!

Starting Ozempic - First Week Thoughts

I've noticed a decrease in my desire for alcohol too. I usually have a drink or two a few nights a week, but the thought of it is just...unappealing now. It's kinda wild!

Starting Ozempic - First Week Thoughts

Thanks for the advice everyone! I'll definitely hold off on increasing the dose. It's good to know the initial effects might not be sustained. I was getting a bit ahead of myself. I really appreciate the insights!

Starting Ozempic - First Week Thoughts

Hey everyone, I'm 41M, around 220lbs, 6'1", and carrying a bit more weight than I should. I look okay because I'm fairly muscular, but I battle food cravings and snacking constantly. It's a family thing - lots of us are prone to weight issues and disordered eating. I feel like I've tried every...

    GLP-1s fixing knees?!

Can I ask why you're switching? Most people go the other way, from Tirz to Reta. The Phase 3 data on Reta and osteoarthritis looked amazing.

    GLP-1s fixing knees?!

That's wild. I have some pretty bad osteoarthritis and my knees feel WAY better since I dropped almost 90 pounds in the last year using a Mounjaro prescription for like 5 months, then switched to some research Reta for the last 2 or 3 months. I figured the relief was just from losing all the weight!

    GLP-1 non-responders?

It's wild how differently people respond to these meds. I saw one person online lost almost 40 lbs in 8 months and they look amazing!

    GLP-1 non-responders?

I'm just a random person, not a scientist! But yeah, I read the article and got the same idea, but the authors had a bunch of conditions that you left out. You were just trying to be more straightforward, I guess. They thought GIPR agonists could help that first group, but they want more...

    GLP-1 non-responders?

I actually managed to say "impaired enteroendocrine cell dysfunction" five times, but I did it super slowly, and definitely not in front of anyone. Trying to say it fast would be like me trying to dunk a basketball. Not gonna happen. I can't even say IECD fast five times.

    GLP-1 non-responders?

Ok, so basically, not everyone gets the same results from GLP-1s. The article says there are different reasons WHY some folks don't respond. If we can figure out the reason, maybe we can find a way to make the meds work for them later.
