    Almost there...stalled!

Skipped zinc on purpose - most of what I've read says it's not needed if diet is solid, and copper toxicity from food is basically a non-issue. That said, the needle swap is the easiest variable to control if anything looks off with absorption. Worth trying before adding supplements you don't need.

    My GLP-1 journey (so far!)

DownWithTheSickness I have type 2 so my insurance covered it. I did have to jump through some hoops first though, like trying metformin. Check your plan details!

    My GLP-1 journey (so far!)

Hey all! Wanted to give my story for those just starting out, it's been a wild ride so far. I'm a 44 year old guy and 5' 2''. Back in January '24, I was tipping the scales at 266, BMI was like 48.something. Highest I've ever been. Managed to drop about 10lbs before starting on meds, but doc...

    Skin removal after weight loss?

You look amazing!!! I get wanting the skin gone, but you look like women my age (40s) who've had kids and C-sections. Your natural shape will make for incredible results! Edit: I see you said where the dress is from after I commented, lol.

    Skin removal after weight loss?

Thanks for posting! Reminder: no discussing non-FDA approved stuff or selling meds. Don't respond to DMs offering that stuff. If you're new, check the FAQ. This is not intended to discourage discussion but merely supplement it.

Hey, Retaxx472, appreciate the info on the raspberry ketones. Makes sense why I felt nothing!

    GLP-1 prices drop?

In countries like the UK where healthcare is government funded, why not just buy the patent and sell the drugs at cost? You'd get a return on investment through lower NHS costs. Buying out the patent wouldn't hurt future drug development. Sounds like a win-win.

    Anyone experimenting with ketones?

Been messing around with a cheap ketone supplement for a month now, the kind from the big online retailer. Honestly, can't tell if it's doing diddly squat. Anyone else tried adding ketones to your routine and noticed anything?

    GLP-1 prices drop?

Good point. I'm saying we should value good things. We should give high status to people/firms that create new things or save lives, not just virtue signaling.

    GLP-1 prices drop?

I feel like drug companies are doing good things. They create life saving medications. Any decrease in new R&D is literally lives lost because we won't have the next wonder drug or whatever. I think the WSJ editorial board is one of the only level-headed media sources right now, it's so polarized.

BAC vs Sterile water for Tirzepatide?

Just FYI, Janoshik said in an interview they always use sterile water, not BAC, and just mark the date and throw it out after a month. He thinks BAC isn't worth it since you should toss it after a month anyway. Most people here seem to trust BAC more, me included, since I've used vials for a...

    Look what I found!

Okay, so it's been a journey! Primarily I focused on portion sizes using smaller plates and bowls. I also swapped out sugary drinks for water and diet soda. Regular walks (30-45 mins) most days of the week. It took about 18 months to get to where I am now, but it was worth it.
