Just got my sema, now what?

Bubbles after reconstitution are normal and don't affect potency - air introduced during mixing dissipates when you let the vial sit undisturbed for 5-10 minutes. Draw slowly from the bottom of the bubble layer and you'll pull solution not air.

    See any difference?

Face and waist tend to show first - the before-and-after comparison usually reads clearest around month 5-6.

87 weeks and 133 lbs is the full arc - the slow weeks are still inside that total.

GHK-cu: Did I expect too much?

I've been on Ipamorelin/CJC1295 for maybe two months and I've dropped a little fat around my waist and gained a little muscle. My IGF-1 went up a bit. I haven't been sick at all during this time, either! I'm on hormone replacement too though.

    Protein is Key!

That's a great idea about the pre-planning, HeartSquad! I might try that too. And you're so right, GroovyChick, about the sugar cravings! I've noticed the same thing. When I skip protein, I want ALL the candy!

GHK-cu: Did I expect too much?

I did 6 weeks of GHK-Cu, and then about two months of a blend. My skin is thicker, and people randomly tell me I look great lately. I feel like my face looks younger. I split the blend into AM/PM doses because I get bad injection site reactions, and wanted to lower the dose at each injection...

    Protein is Key!

You're so right! Thank you for reminding me too. I'm three weeks in and my ADHD is so annoying right now. I've forgotten to eat protein and the same thing is happening to me: weight loss is slower and the brain fog is here again.

    Protein is Key!

So, I dropped about 45 lbs in the first year, but then stalled out completely. I wasn't overeating or anything, stuck to around 1300 calories a day. And I've been on the highest dose for a good half year now. When I was losing weight the fastest, I was all about the protein shakes, protein...

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

I figured salaries would be high, but seeing those numbers is tough. I have a good job, but I probably won't even make what they earn in a single year in my entire life. And now that Zepbound is making them so much profit, they're basically profiting off of people trying to lose weight. 🤣😂🤣😂

Reta and Insomnia - Anyone Else?

I've also had some crazy vivid dreams since starting tirzepatide. Not always food-related, but definitely intense. Maybe it's related to the meds, or maybe just sleeping more soundly now that my sleep apnea is better controlled?

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

From EL's point, they're probably trying to make up for the earnings 'hurt' by Tirz taking market share from Ozempic so quickly (that's likely why Reta is being delayed). The pills are cheaper to make, easier to handle, and they can offer them at a lower price that looks good to uninformed...

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

The fact that they priced the pills lower than the equivalent injectable dose is pretty telling. If pills were pricier to make, they wouldn't have done that. It's also been said that pills are easier to manufacture and store, and that's been mentioned on earning calls. I also don't think the...

Reta and Insomnia - Anyone Else?

Have you thought about DSIP? Or maybe combining Tesa and IPA? They've really improved my sleep quality.

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

Yeah, insurance companies are probably worse. Pharma companies are just trying to make money for their shareholders, which usually means making a ton of cash off of regular folks. At least they give us these amazing drugs and are innovating. Insurance companies, not so much.

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

EL made over $22 billion in profit the last 3 years. That's *after* research, executive pay, and taxes.

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

Is it just me, or do these introductory prices for lower doses of GLP-1s feel like a trick? It's almost like they're trying to get new users hooked and then jack up the price once you need a higher dose. Doesn't sit right with me. Especially if the tablet form is cheaper to produce. Seems like...

    Switching between GLP-1 meds

This is such a solid breakdown. I do not think enough people understand this. I switched from sema (maxed out) to tirz and did not feel the full effect until week 3–4. I thought it was not working at first. Patience really matters with these. Have you seen many people successfully go back...

Tirzepatide - when does it actually work?

Wait, you're taking a GHRP2 stack? GHRP2 completely cancelled out the appetite suppression from tirzepatide for me! It was like it broke my 'full' switch.

Tirzepatide - when does it actually work?

I would stick with the 2.5mg for now and let your body adjust. The 2.5mg dose isn't really known for consistent weight loss. The side effects can definitely increase as you up the dosage (that was my experience), so it's best to be patient.

Half a year in, 77 pounds gone!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! You must have a lot of muscle.
