My wife and I both started around the same time. She went with tirz at 2.5 and lost about 18 pounds in six weeks, while I jumped straight to reta at 2.5 and dropped 28. But honestly, I wish I'd been smarter about the ramp-up. Starting that high was rough on my body and set me back a few weeks...
I do have a bit of loose skin on my arms and stomach, but it's not too bad. When I lost about 70 pounds, I treated myself to a pilates membership and I've been doing that about twice a week since!
I'm closing in on my two year mark and just wanted to say I'm down 110 pounds! It's amazing. And for those just starting out, don't give up! It took time, but it was worth it.
It really is!
I've been under 200 for around half a year now, and it still feels surreal. I haven't weighed this little since college! Here's a pic to show I look like I did back then, just with some extra lines, haha. Congrats Meal_Fixed and keep it up!

So, I started this journey at 344 pounds. I'm now down to 312, and my first goal is to get under 300, at 299! I know it's still a ways to go, but getting below that 300 mark feels like a huge accomplishment for the first step.
Someone mentioned strength training. I agree 100%. Building muscle not only helps with weight loss by increasing your metabolism, but it also helps shape your body as you lose fat. I'm trying to do at least 3 strength workouts a week, focusing on different muscle groups each time. I am also...
I'm pretty new to this too (been doing 1mg a week for a month, going to 2mg tomorrow) but I've been researching it for a while and basically:
Month 1: 1mg a week to make sure you don't have bad reactions and to let it build up. (the weight loss here is mostly water as your body starts losing...
Yeah, that's how it is. This casserole was yesterdays breakfast, lunch, and dinner, todays brekkie and probably lunch lolllll. Down 40 pounds in six months! I am so happy! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
