Mounjaro's done for me. Now what?

244.5 to 161.7 in 11 months is a substantial result, but the realization that looking different doesn't automatically fix the internal part is one of the more honest moments this process produces. What comes after the number is often where the real work starts.

    GLP-1 Side Effect Database!

High sensitivity baseline means every dose change gets amplified - logging side effect onset timing alongside dose is the most useful data to track.

Wrong Mounjaro dose - what do I do?

Wrong dose dispensed is a pharmacy error - they can often fix it on the spot with a call to the prescriber.

Butt skin issues from weight loss?

Definitely talk to your doctor first. When I was helping care for my aunt while she was in the hospital with bedsores, we used Aquaphor.

    Compounding pharmacies shutting down?

Canada doesn’t allow compounded versions, so I’m bummed if it’s totally banned where you are too. It’s super expensive from the main company.

    Compounding pharmacies shutting down?

Yeah... but I hear some of them are side-stepping the order by adding extra stuff that the brand name versions don't have. Like vitamins.

Curious... is it FDA approved yet? I'm guessing no, but gotta ask.

Down 65 lbs in 7 months!

I was prescribed it for the type 2 diabetes. My doc said the weight loss would be a nice bonus, lol. Insurance covered it no problem.

Down 65 lbs in 7 months!

Thanks for the support, everyone! My diabetes diagnosis was my wake-up call. I basically stopped sugar. I swapped my usual sugary coffee for plain black coffee, stopped drinking regular soda and only had sugar-free when I really needed it (sugar free root beer is pretty good!), and avoided...

Down 65 lbs in 7 months!

I began taking a GLP-1 med this past June when I found out I had type 2 diabetes. I was pushing 290 pounds, and now I'm closing in on my goal of 225. I've been doing more exercise, and mostly watching what I eat.

Tirz + Reta or Cagri... or split dose?

I used to take Tesofensine, but I'm currently taking a break. It gave me lots of energy, but ruined my sleep. Just buy a month's worth and see how it goes. I've heard that the lower dose of 500mg is better than 1g. Reddit link about Tesofensine

Tirz + Reta or Cagri... or split dose?

If adding Reta, should I just follow the typical dosage scales for Reta? For example, I see for reta, it’s around 4mg, 8mg, and 12mg. I’m currently on 5mg for Tirz.

Tirz + Reta or Cagri... or split dose?

I was on my second round of Tirz (first round I reached 15 mg) and never responded to it much. I was only on 5 mg when I got my Reta. I stacked the 5 mg of Tirz for over two months while I added 1 mg of Reta, and got to 5 mg when I stopped the Tirz. I was fine during the transition. I rarely get...
