    My clothes are fitting better!

That pace in 13 weeks is significant - knee pain tracks weight loss faster than people expect, often within the first few weeks of movement. When clothes start changing is when the numbers stop being abstract.

Slow weight loss on sema a worry?

When you're close to goal the pace slows by design - smaller deficit, longer per pound. Lowering dose or taking a break at that stage is a reasonable read.

    Inflammation and joint pain help?

The joint pain improvement on GLP-1s has a clear mechanism - visceral fat reduction lowers systemic inflammatory load, and direct anti-inflammatory GLP-1 signaling adds to that. Gout benefits from both the weight component and the anti-inflammatory pathway. Cherry extract and omega-3s are the...

    Weight Loss Stalled? Try This!

That's so true! I started noticing my clothes fit better even when the scale wasn't moving. It's definitely encouraging to track those other metrics too.

    Weight Loss Stalled? Try This!

Salad_Loss When you reduced your dose for those two weeks, did you have a hard time sticking to your eating plan? Did your appetite feel like it came back pretty strongly during that period?

    Weight Loss Stalled? Try This!

Been stuck on the same weight with semaglutide for almost two months now. It's not going up, which is something, but it's the same 2-4 lbs constantly. Someone on another forum suggested cutting my dose in half for a week or so and then going back to normal. I did it and it worked! It kickstarted...

    Switching off metformin?

I switched from Zepbound to Wegovy a few months ago and haven't seen much change in my weight. I'm on 1.7mg, and going up to 2.4mg next week. I hope it starts working better at that dose.

    Stopped GLP-1, weight's back... but I'm good!

This is why I'm tapering off *super* slowly. I've gone back down to 1.7mg, and my aim is to be completely off by summer, without gaining anything back 🙏

    Switching off metformin?

Are you taking metformin extended release? Switching from the regular version helped my diarrhea. My a1c is 5.4 on ozempic and I still need about half my metformin. It has other benefits and I don't want to stop it completely.

    Stopped GLP-1, weight's back... but I'm good!

This is my biggest fear - what happens *after* I reach my goal weight. What's the long term plan?

    Ozempic rebound - anyone else?

Don't feel like you failed. These meds give us back control, but going off them shows how much we need them. Congrats to those who can stop and maintain, but it's not the norm.

    Dosage jump too big?

Following up on OldPath695's comment about slow increases - that's what I would suggest, too. Gradual is always better than shocking your system. Listen to your body!

    Stopped GLP-1, weight's back... but I'm good!

You put on almost 10kg in just a month?

    Ozempic rebound - anyone else?

My initial weight loss was huge. I dropped 10-12 lbs every month, from 270 down to 170. About 9 months to lose 100 lbs. I lowered my dose, and maintained for a few months. Felt great. Then I stopped, thinking I'd let myself eat SOME, but not like before. I was wrong. I barely noticed it...

    Dosage jump too big?

I'd definitely stick with the initial dose for at least a month before thinking about increasing it.

    Ozempic rebound - anyone else?

Hey Shape-Boss, I sympathize. After I went off it, the cravings were intense, like a non-stop food commercial in my head. I started using a berberine supplement to sorta mimic the GLP effect naturally, and it helped quiet things down a bit without needing more injections. It helped me get my...

    Best time to start shots?

I agree with Shot_Journey, it's really about figuring out your body and when you have the most cravings. I've found that addressing that specific time frame has been most effective. I also agree with Doc_Queen that side effects are overblown.

    Best time to start shots?

Most people choose a day before they have some downtime in case they don't feel well that first day. Someone here mentioned picking a day where you can take it easy.

    Best time to start shots?

I pin on Friday mornings before heading to the office. Seems to work well for me.

2mg Ozempic - Anyone been there?

Wow, Rene_1995, that's interesting! Bodies definitely are weird. Maybe I should just stay where I am if it's still working, even if it's slower.
