    Down 99, still goin'!

Flu is a forced rest week. The 99 pounds are still there when you come back to training.

    Rybelsus - one week in!

4 lbs in the first week is a positive signal on Rybelsus - non-responders usually see little movement at this stage. The tirz switch makes more sense if the losses plateau later.

    Bad thoughts on Ozempic?

The Breaking Bad reference is right for this thread. The show's lesson: slow titration beats going fast.

Just got my Sema! Any tips?

It can be slow for some people. I've been on it for several months and have only lost about 15 pounds. Just focus on consistency and healthy habits, and the results will come.

Just got my Sema! Any tips?

Congrats! My top tips are to stay hydrated, focus on protein, and eat smaller meals to avoid feeling overly full. Give your body a couple weeks to adjust. Since you're home with the kids, even light activity like short walks or stretching can help. I also track my protein, water, and injections...

MJ was NOT my miracle drug!

You're so right about the sleep issues and fatigue, Mike_02! I'm dealing with that now! I don't feel like myself at all!

    Stress bringing back food cravings?

Do you think it's just biology screwing us over, CoolFixed? Like, are we just not meant to lose weight naturally?

    Stress bringing back food cravings?

    It does for me too!

MJ was NOT my miracle drug!

Congrats on the weight loss, Mike_02! Glad you're feeling better now that you're off the meds. I have a question: If you had bad side effects on 2.5mg, why did you go up to 5mg? Do people try different doses to see how their body reacts, or is this common with Zepbound too?

    Dosage jump too big?

Honestly, not really! I was expecting to feel awful, but so far, so good. Maybe I should just stay at the lower dose longer like some people are saying...

    Dosage jump too big?

OK so I'm in week two, and the schedule says I should inject 0.22 ml (that's 22 units, right?) for these first two weeks, but then jump to 0.44 ml (44 units) in weeks 3 and 4. Am I crazy or does that seem like a huge leap?

3 months down, lifetime to go!

Wow, that's amazing progress! I'm hoping to have similar results. Any advice for a newbie like me?

3 months down, lifetime to go!

Amazing job! Even with meds, it's still hard work. You're at the same point I was at 3 months in. I'm almost a year in now and down 111 lbs. Only 5 more to go until I reach my goal. Keep at it and imagine where you'll be in a few months. You can do it!!!

3 months down, lifetime to go!

That's fantastic. Can you post again at the 6-month and 1-year milestones? It'd be really interesting to see the ongoing transformation – especially the 1-year mark. A full body shot in a new outfit for the anniversary photo would be awesome.

GLP-1s: Confidence boost & fewer SEs!

I had a bunch of other side effects too I had nausea, heartburn and constipation, literally all of them at once.

    GLP-1 non-responders?

Haha, no way. I can't even get through it ONCE without tripping over my tongue! 😅

    GLP-1 non-responders?

So, people with secretory deficiencies caused by messed up enteroendocrine cell function? Sounds like it could explain why some folks complain about GI issues even at tiny doses? I'm not one of them (at 5mg and no problems yet, knock on wood!), but they're talking about sulfur burps, diarrhea...

GLP-1s: Confidence boost & fewer SEs!

Okay, so, I had the WORST uncomfy side effects possible. Seriously, it got to the point where I was thinking about quitting. I'm sure some of you get what I'm saying. But I kept going! I spent maybe 6 months trying different things to handle the side effects. Fast forward to now, it's been like...
