Off GLP-1s for months – still good!

Maintaining after stopping is honestly the real test, and you're passing it. Whatever you built in terms of habits is clearly holding. That's the part that sticks.

    Down 29, feeling fine!

Down 29 in 5 months is solid. Close to goal now. The constipation piece always seems to settle eventually.

    Look at me now!

That's the kind of post that makes you stop scrolling. The camera thing changes when you're not spending energy hiding. Congrats on getting there.

Mounjaro woes - feeling defeated :(

I'm only on day 6, but the food chatter is gone. I wonder if this is how naturally slim people feel? Not always worrying about food?? It's amazing!

Mounjaro woes - feeling defeated :(

I've been on it for 5 months. The beginning was great, but I've only shed 4 pounds this year. I'm increasing to 7.5 soon to see what happens. I don't have serious side effects, so I'm continuing. It’s frustrating. Your doctors are doing their best. Maybe this med isn't right for you. I hope you...

GLP-1 first-timers: when did it kick in?

Tirz, basically same day, like maybe 2-3 hours after the shot.

    Peptides while on seizure meds?

I had a question about tendon issues... I'm getting over being sick and my doctor prescribed cipro. I am so nervous about tendon damage from the cipro since I've heard horror stories. Would something like BPC-157 help avoid tendon problems?

    Peptides while on seizure meds?

I'm not a doctor, so this isn't medical advice... At first glance, I'd say it seems okay. The only potential issue I see with those peptides is fatigue. But interactions with your current meds are always possible. This is a risk with *any* new substance. The only way to know for sure is to try...

    GLP-1 woes... what next?

Why don't you want to try sema? Just curious. Cagri and sema are different. But you could have success on tirz. Do you have any metabolic issues, like PCOS or insulin resistance, that could mean you need higher doses to lose weight?

    GLP-1 woes... what next?

Are you at a healthy weight already? Maybe that's why you aren't losing any weight? Did you try semaglutide? I heard some people don't lose weight on tirz until they get to 12.5mg or 15mg. Everyones different tho, but dont forget calory consumption, protein, exercise, sleep, stress etc

    Dosing quandaries...

Oh, heads up – mine was 10mg/2ml, not 30mg!

    Dosing quandaries...

My doctor had me go from 2.5 to 5 after a month, then to 7.5 each week. But splitting the dose just worked better with my body, since I'd get hungry after 3-4 days. It's not for everyone, but it did the trick for me.

    Coming off GLP-1s: Success!

    Incredible transformation!

    Dosing quandaries...

When I started feeling those hunger pangs again, I upped my frequency. I was doing 2.5mg twice a week, or about every four days.

GLP-1 GI Distress: Am I Alone?

Does anyone remember the weight loss chips with Olestra? GLP-1s can be similar to that.

GLP-1 GI Distress: Am I Alone?

I considered wearing protection at work on certain days, because I was so anxious 😂😭
