    Just sharing! 6-month GLP-1 progress

338 to 285 in six months is real. The debate about these meds misses what the people who actually use them know - the medication creates the opening, the person decides what to do with it. 53 pounds is what doing something with it looks like.

Just started Reta - questions and initial thoughts

2,760mg in the freezer is a serious stockpile. The R60 versus R30 question comes down to reconstitution frequency preference.

New KwikPens - no extra dose!

The new KwikPen design removing the extra dose is a real change for people who relied on that fifth draw. The leftover pens are worth holding onto if you are still using the old format. The generous offer for NL folks makes sense given the timing.

Why's everyone nagging 'bout my weight?

I'm also 5'7 and started around 215. I felt a little too thin around 150. But I'm in my 40s, and I think a few extra pounds fill you out as you age. I'm up to 160 now, which was my original goal, and I feel good. You have to decide what looks and feels best for you.

Why's everyone nagging 'bout my weight?

Maybe you have body image issues, and your family is genuinely worried? Just a thought... if EVERYONE's saying it, maybe there's some truth to it.

    Quadruple threat or vaporware?

That's encouraging! I'm on the lowest maintenance dose and it's still working for me.

I hit my first goal weight!

I started taking sema at the tail end of May '25. My starting weight was 257, my initial goal weight was 199, and guess what? Current weight: 199! The worst of it was some upset stomach and feeling queasy, but antacids and anti-nausea meds took care of that. Now I'm shooting for 175, which I...

Awesome job! I know how awesome that can feel! Last spring I finally got below 300, for the first time in two decades I think. Now I'm down to 215. This med is really doing wonders.

Peptides & lifting: what goes with what?

Unless you have a really good reason, I'd skip the heavy lifting. You can get your volume in a safer way. You know how it goes, if you lift heavy it's not 'if' you get hurt, but 'when'.

    Goals on GLP-1s!

That's good to know! Makes me feel better about being on it for a while.

    Goals on GLP-1s!

That's fantastic news! I'm about two months in. Been losing around 3lbs weekly. But I gained a little this past week. I'm trying not to get discouraged. Is it normal to have ups and downs?

Loti Labs - anyone heard of them?

And like @AndyPanda said in another thread, these peptide companies are more likely to get in trouble if a disgruntled customer reports them to the authorities. It's like, DEA, FDA...they all have their own things going on. The DEA even threatened to shut down my local pharmacy over something...
