Half dose too little, whole too much?

Skipping a dose to reset after over-titrating is a legitimate move. Some people plateau comfortably at doses well below the max. Going back down and titrating slower is the right call when the higher dose causes sustained problems, not just adjustment sides.

    My Blood Sugar's Normal!

A1c from 8.1 to 5.6 is a meaningful result - that's moving from elevated diabetic range into normal territory, which means diabetes management changes significantly. The baseline testing point is useful context though: people who've had elevated blood sugar for a while often have downstream...

Is this weight loss too fast?

7 lbs in two weeks at that stage is mostly water weight as glycogen drops with suppressed appetite. The real pace shows up weeks 4-6. The gallbladder point is worth keeping in mind though - rapid loss does increase gallstone risk. Stay hydrated and don't skip meals entirely.

    Face slimming first, anyone?

I saw a post where someone said, and I kind of agree. I think a lot of people are jealous that it's easier to lose weight now.

    Face slimming first, anyone?

Same here! Down almost 35lbs. My face is noticeably thinner, and my pants are too loose (but not enough to go down a size). My stomach, which is my biggest area, doesn't seem to have changed at all yet!

Only 16lbs? That sounds like good progress!

Aunt's health is declining on Tirz :(

With all due respect [USER=Izzy_2000], if she's got heart or kidney failure, those suggestions could make things worse. There's NO substitute for getting her checked out by a doctor.

Aunt's health is declining on Tirz :(

Trying to "flush fluid" without medical advice (with diuretics, supplements, etc.) can be really risky, even deadly. If she's retaining that much fluid, her heart and kidneys might already be struggling. Weight loss meds won't help with that strain... proper medical evaluation and treatment...

Aunt's health is declining on Tirz :(

It's nice that you're trying to help, but this situation's beyond what peptides or diet changes can safely address. She needs a medical assessment. Fluid overload from possible heart failure sounds likely, not just fat. Tirzepatide can't fix that and might even complicate things.

Switching from Tirz to Reta...worth trying?

I'm thinking of starting with a low dose, like 0.25mg twice a week. Has anyone had success with that low of a starting point? I know everyone's different, but just curious.

Thanks for the detailed reply PurePal! I appreciate the dose info and the realistic expectations.

Switching from Tirz to Reta...worth trying?

I've been on tirzepatide for about 14 weeks, and I'm hitting some walls that are making it hard to get to a good dose. I worked up to 5mg weekly. Around day 3 or 4, I'd get hit with awful diarrhea and some sleepless nights. Initially, I thought the GI issues were from something I ate out. But it...

    Ozempic hookup overseas?

I'm curious if anyone knows if compounding pharmacies can ship internationally with a valid prescription?

    Ozempic hookup overseas?

Were they refrigerated the whole time? My doc mentioned they’re only good for about 2 months if not kept cold.

    BAC Water Armageddon?

For every 2mg of sermorelin, you should reconstitute with 1ml of bac water. So for 5mg you'd want 2.5ml. Then if you are using an insulin syringe, every 5 units will be 100mcg.

    BAC Water Armageddon?

In the UK, there are sites that sell tanning injections, sema, and now triz. A lot of those places allow you to buy BAC at the same time because of bulk buying for suppliers. I've been using the MT and sema from those places for some time and buy the water for a couple of bucks, which I'll use...

    BAC Water Armageddon?

I think there are still some places selling Hospira BAC for $10-$15 per vial right now (for now, at least), which isn't a terrible price, especially if you're buying other stuff from the same supplier. I'd like to hear from people who have used telehealth for BAC to find out what the total cost...

    BAC Water Armageddon?

A lot of folks tried that a while back when there was another shortage. The issue was that many pharmacies don't have BAC on hand and have to order it. I'm wondering if this shortage and increased costs will make that option just as expensive. How much does a telehealth appointment cost? If it's...
