    Amazing A1C Results!

Starting at 13 leaves a lot of room for a dramatic improvement on the first recheck - the drop usually surprises people.

    OMG, is that a... jawline?!

Jawline shows up before the scale catches up. It's the visible tell.

    Maintenance dose strategies?

Lowest effective dose rather than stopping is the standard - keeps the mechanism active without full-dose load.

Slow & steady wins the GLP race!

I've had four injections of 0.25 mg Ozempic. The pen still seems to have some medicine after dialing to 0.25. Can I use the remainder for my next dose, or do I need to throw it away? Is that normal?

    Not losing fast enough?

Maybe I should try a DEXA scan like someone mentioned on Reddit. Just to see what's really happening with my body comp. It's depressing to see the scale not change. measurements might be helpful too.

    Not losing fast enough?

I'm around your weight and I'm on 1mg. I've barely lost anything. I went up to 2mg and was throwing up after every meal and lost 4lb in 2 weeks. My calorie goal is 1800, but I'm eating like two pieces of toast for breakfast, two pieces for lunch, and chicken and rice for dinner.

    Reta transition woes?

I've noticed that my other meds seem to act differently since starting GLP-1s. Anyone else experience this? It's like my anxiety med isn't working as well.

    Reta transition woes?

What dose of Tirz were you taking when you started bridging to Reta, Stevie_1988? I'm doing the same thing now, and was only on 12.5mg of Tirz, but I'd like Reta to do its thing for a couple months to get past this stall. I tried going up to 15mg of Tirz for a bit, but didn't really notice any...

    Finally under 200!

Thanks! Honestly, the biggest thing for me has been being patient and consistent. The weight didn't come on overnight, and it's not going to come off that way either. Just stick with it and listen to your body!

    Ozempic deaths? Seriously?!

It'll be interesting to observe how this plays out down the road. It's good that the possibility seems really small, but it isn't non-existent. "exenatide, sold as Bydureon, was tied to 55 deaths"

    Finally under 200!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely keep a close eye on things and talk to my doctor about the right dosage.

    Finally under 200!

Hey everyone! So, like a lot of people during those crazy years, I put on some weight. I think I was around 235 pounds in summer 2025. I'm about 5'7". I managed to drop a few pounds since then but couldn't seem to get below 200. In March, I started on a medication and was 212 pounds or so, and...

    Ozempic deaths? Seriously?!

The MHRA Yellow Card system seems similar to the VARS system here when it comes to reporting needs - anyone can file a report. It doesn't have to be a doctor, coroner, or anything. My neighbor's cousin died, and I heard she used semaglutide - suspicious! I could report it to the program this...
