I agree with MyBro about the inflammation. I've had less pain since starting these meds. I also have T2D, and when I cleaned up my diet, I felt a significant decrease in pain and increase in energy. When I started eating some of those foods again, I felt some of the discomfort coming back.

Good to hear you didn't have any horrible side effects! It could have been much worse. It's not a HUGE increase in dose, but I bet that appetite suppression is intense. Everyone reacts differently to these things, though. If someone prone to bad side effects at higher doses did that, they might...

Reading all this reminds me. I've lost 90+ pounds basically effortlessly on sema. I know some say it's not the "easy way out," but honestly, I haven't changed a thing except taking the meds. For some of us, it really does "fix what was wrong."
