50lbs down - slow and steady!

Cartalax availability is limited outside European research circles, which is part of why feedback is thin. The slow-acting characterization is accurate - the results window for peptides in that class is measured in months, not weeks.

    Ugh, these side effects!

Bedtime injection is the most reliable workaround for acute GI side effects - sleeping through the 2-4 hour peak window is the mechanism.

    New to GLP-1s? Start Here

Reading everything in here before starting is genuinely useful - the questions that come up in the first few weeks tend to be universal ones about dose titration, side effect management, and what to expect when the medication starts working. The range of experience here covers most scenarios...

    Tirz powder + BAC volume?

i've kept bac water past 90 days when i was on a single peptide low dose. nowadays pinning six different ones for multiple projects—bac water doesn't last past 30 days. it's all about comfort level with risk. more worried about staph and endotoxins in the peptides themselves.

Expired Pen? Keep it or toss it?

Melaton 2 was hardcore—fine for years, switched to nasal spray, then out of nowhere SEVERE anxiety and depression (amplified my tinnitus badly). As depression faded the tinnitus did too. Love mt2 but that scared me. Thinking about cycling bpc/tb/ghk stack. Any side effects with those three?

    Upping my dose - nervous!

bump it to 1mg every three days and you'll see the difference. two is the starting dose but there's no reason to sit low once you're past the side effects. i did 0.5 every two days until i hit 2 weekly, then 1 every three. lost four pounds a week early on.

Down 110lbs in 6 months! Pics!

Added cagri for appetite control. Did tirz last year, took 6 weeks off, lower doses did nothing after that. Up to 12.5mg tirz now plus 0.9mg cagri at week 3. Way better—hungry but full faster, cravings mostly gone. Might be worth exploring.

    Creatine While on GLP-1?

Just started the 4mg dose today. Getting my blood work checked—A1C is pre-diabetic at 5.8, fasting glucose at 94, but the scary one was fasting insulin at 19.9, HOMA-IR at 4.6. Really hoping this protocol helps me improve that score and make the whole fitness journey sustainable.

    Mounjaro - Hunger coming back?

I'm on week six now. For me, I had the biggest appetite suppression during the first week. It may have been mental. Now I can eat what I want, but it is never too much to gain weight. I was explaining it recently to a nurse during a checkup.

    Mounjaro - Hunger coming back?

It's normal. The drug has a half-life of five days. With 2.5, I wasn't hungry for all five days and had to force myself to eat. I injected on Fridays to avoid weekend binges. Now (after 9 months), I get full fast and eat much smaller portions. I'm at 5 mg (since month two). Drink lots of water...

    Mounjaro - Hunger coming back?

Started Mounjaro last Friday and it was amazing until yesterday. I'm feeling hunger and cravings again, not as strong, but definitely there. Has anyone else felt this in their first week? Does it improve with more doses?

    Reta strength fading already?

I've heard of people having success with Retatrutide when Semaglutide gave them nasty side effects. I may need to try it.

    Reta strength fading already?

It can take a couple of weeks for the full kick-in to happen. I saw it take almost a month with a friend. I've had minor bruising at the injection spot before, so the redness could be nothing unless you get other symptoms.

    Hospira BAC source?

About reconstituting peptides like sermorelin, there’s a general guideline. For every 2mg of peptide, use 1ml of bac water. So for a 5mg vial, you’d add 2.5ml. Then you can figure out your dosage based on the concentration.

    Hospira BAC source?

I used bac when I started and ruined my peptides. Don't think you'd want to put it in your body.

    Hospira BAC source?

That's kinda risky, imo. I see people using Chinese bac, especially from some vendors. Even those vendors admit the pH is too high and can cause gelling. One of the main reasons to use Hospira bac/sterile water is that it's depyrogenated.

Down 70lbs, Still wearin' the same jeans?!

We need to save this post and share it every time someone asks why they haven't gone down a size after losing 20+ pounds! We often don't realize just how forgiving our clothes are. For me, I usually need to drop about 30 lbs before I can go down a size.
