    Just starting... anyone else?

The emotional flattening - being unbothered with things that used to engage you - is a recognized pattern on tirzepatide, particularly in the first months or at higher doses. GLP-1 receptor signaling in the limbic system affects motivational circuits as well as appetite circuits; they're...

    First major milestone!

Breaking 220 is the kind of milestone that lands differently than intermediate progress - it's a round number that often corresponds to a previous minimum or a long-ago target, and it carries meaning beyond the arithmetic. The plateau you mentioned is common in the 8-12 month range regardless of...

    Nervous about starting GLP-1s?

The nervousness at the start is almost universal - and the fact that you went in knowing the dose management options (smaller start, hydration, electrolytes) already puts you ahead of most people at week one. The first 2-3 weeks are the adjustment window where most of the side effects that...

    GLP-1 Feelings - Day 3!

I love reading posts like this! It reminds me how much my life has changed! I realized the other day that I can no longer do a bunch of things I used to do. Like, I can't just eat because I'm bored. Or drink a ton of wine in one sitting. Crazy!

    OMG down 60! Never stopping!

Congrats on the weight loss! Remember where you started. Former larger people can sometimes be the most judgmental, so stay empathetic and don't push your methods on anyone unless they ask for help. Stay well and keep it up.

    Finally made it to ONEderland!

I completely understand how you feel, ShotHealth. I have also been dealing with nausea off and on. Sipping ginger ale helps me a little.

    GLP-1s for T2D: real talk

GLP-1 MEDICATIONS FOR TYPE 2 DIABETES: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Hi everyone. I have been around this space for a while and I keep seeing the same questions pop up: insurance denials, confusion about dosing, whether newer agents are "better," how to handle rising A1C after early success, and how...

Gray market peps stronger than pharma?

I saw someone on another forum mention an acute reaction to a peptide. They were trying out ACE-031, a myostatin inhibitor. After a couple of small doses they were fine, but then they took 500mcg and got flu-like symptoms within 15 minutes. Just a reminder to be careful!

Gray market peps stronger than pharma?

That source is usually around 10 percent over. But nothing in peptides weighs 20 oz. Even a jar of water doesn't weigh that much. I'm not trying to be annoying, but details matter if you want help. If not, you risk people ignoring you.

    TDEE Calculator Recs?

Eating too little, especially when starting these meds, can backfire. Make sure you're getting enough protein and nutrients to support your body.

    TDEE Calculator Recs?

I agree with New_Gang. The scale isn't the only thing to look at. I pay more attention to how my clothes fit. I bought some shorts a few weeks ago that were snug, and now they're loose! It's a great feeling.

Gray market peps stronger than pharma?

From the certificates of analysis I've seen, the biggest overfill on the 15mg Tirz was around 17mg. I haven't checked others, though.

This med is making me a new person!

I'm an RD, and I work with people on GLP-1s. I think diet can help with some of the GI issues you get on these drugs. I always tell patients to aim for 100g of protein a day and 25 different servings of veggies a week.

Tirz, Cagri, Sema all at once?

I'm taking sermorelin and it's been a few days. I'm sleeping a lot better, which means better energy and moods the next day. I wonder if this effect wears off. Has anyone switched from TRT to just Sermorelin?
