Considering stopping GLP-1... anyone else?

That third point is way overblown for weight loss or just in general. Most people don't need it. Carbs are honestly fine.

The 'first thing that actually works long-term' framing for severe obesity is accurate - the failure history that precedes GLP-1 use in most cases isn't about effort or discipline, it's about attacking a metabolic dysfunction with tools not designed to address it. The hesitation to stop comes from understanding that distinction.

The focused and awake feeling on reta showing up the same way it does during fasting is a useful distinction - if both produce the same effect, the likely driver is the caloric restriction state rather than the reta itself. For the OP losing motivation for exercise, the question is whether it's the medication specifically or the sustained deficit draining the energy. Some people find stepping down the dose slightly brings the motivation back while keeping the suppression.

the medication amplifies effort, it doesn't replace it - that's the part that catches people when motivation and exercise drop off at the same time as starting. the nausea management tools are there so you don't have to stop before the compound does what it's supposed to do, but what it's doing is creating a window for the habit building that still needs to happen

Unless there are other underlying health conditions, this medication probably shouldn't have been prescribed in the first place. Sounds like the fallout from using something this potent just to shed a small amount of weight.
