Down 87lbs... feeling unreal!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
170 lbs without surgery is the result that rewrites people's sense of what's possible through medication-assisted loss - the 'it can't be that much without intervention' assumption is a significant part of why so many people delayed getting started. the speechless reaction is understandable

Congratulations! It's such a comfortable, understated win that I still appreciate. That, plus finally being able to sit comfortably with legs crossed.

Aloha, fellow short person here. Also checking in at 5 feet.
Congrats, and honestly arms are a sore spot for me too.

You've absolutely got this! Deserve serious pride over all that effort.

Yeah, this is a big shift I honestly wasn't expecting so soon. I'm lighter now than before having my baby. Actually lighter than I was back in high school, over ten years back. I like a looser fit since my style leans a bit androgynous, but it's still a strange feeling. Weirdest part is I still catch myself feeling large sometimes even knowing that's not true anymore.

Also figured once the weight came off I'd feel confident in fitted clothes, crop tops, workout gear. Instead I find myself wanting to cover up even more these days.

Just wearing whatever I like at this point, and flipping through older pictures helps remind me how far this whole thing has come. Adjusting after a change this big always takes a while, be patient with yourself while you settle into how you look now.
