Has anyone "reset" their response by switching from Mounjaro to Retatrutide?

Curious if anyone's cycled through mounjaro, retatrutide, maybe even ozempic in rotation. Been running mounjaro at a stronger dose recently and it genuinely feels stalled out. Appetite's crept back, some weight's returning, and whatever used to keep alcohol interest down has faded too. Could just push the dose higher, but cost's already climbing, so wondering whether switching things up beats going bigger. Has anyone found success shifting to retatrutide for a stretch then returning to mounjaro afterward? Or trying ozempic in between before coming back? Genuinely want to hear what's actually worked, what hasn't, and whether swapping compounds helped anything reset.

Ask anyone who has run all three and the advice tends to be the same.

Starting fresh and going the unregulated route, just begin with retatrutide.

My own path was semaglutide first, up to the old max of 2.4mg. Barely lost anything and had brutal GI side effects, serious gastric pain.

Switched to tirzepatide next, but having already been on sema meant needing a higher tirz dose to see anything. Nothing happened until I hit 10mg, now sitting at 15.

What comes up a lot anecdotally in this community is people moving from tirzepatide to retatrutide and not feeling nearly the same appetite suppression they had before.

Yet clinical data still shows retatrutide edging out on actual weight loss despite that.

Same thing went down for me too, ended up climbing back to 7.5mg. Mounjaro's basically considered a lifelong medication, most people who stop end up returning to it. You'll probably need to climb to 5mg to get it back under control. Good luck.

Feels like this is exactly it, those receptors are running maxed out around the clock. Heard that running a month on, month off cycle might help reset that.

Currently switching over from tirzepatide (the brand-name dual-action compound) to an alternate-source version of the third compound.

Was running a split-dose protocol, two shots of 3.75mg weekly, and just swapped the Monday evening shot for 2.5mg of the third compound instead. By Wednesday the appetite control noticeably fades, and my Friday morning tirzepatide shot barely lands soon enough to get me through to Monday.

Plan is to gradually raise the amount of the third compound and see if it delivers stronger, steadier appetite control. Once things feel roughly stable across the whole week, I'll switch over completely.

Good news on the tolerability front, nothing bad from either compound at all so far.

Anyone else gone through something like this switch, and how'd it turn out for you?
