It's been almost 14 weeks since I started the shots.

This morning... I broke through a barrier!

I haven't been under 200 lbs in probably 2 decades!

Started at 235. Current is 199. Goal is 135.

I'm over the moon! I wish I'd done this years ago!

I'm so happy for you. It makes a huge difference in how you feel! I hope you are also doing some resistance training, it's really important to maintain muscle mass while losing weight.

That's great news, ShrinkAF! It's amazing how much these meds can improve overall health. Have you seen any improvements in other areas, like blood sugar or cholesterol?

I haven't had my labs done recently, but I'm hoping to see some improvements there too! I'm also noticing my face is less puffy, which is a nice bonus!

Wow! That is amazing progress! I am still waiting on approval to begin my journey. Seeing your progress is getting me more and more excited!

Breaking through a weight barrier at 14 weeks after a multi-week stall is the most common timing for the first plateau resolution - the body needs time to reset the set point, not just the dose. The 2.5-month stall at 15mg breaking yesterday confirms the same pattern at higher dose.

October to 209 from 246 with a week skipped in February is a 37 lb move and the strength training question is well-timed. Adding resistance work while appetite is still suppressed tends to give the best muscle preservation outcomes. The DEXA scan plan is the right call for baseline body composition before changing the protocol. What's the current dose?
