    Just starting out... your advice?

Omeprazole is the right call for the heartburn side of things, and Dramamine for nausea in a pinch. The building-up-in-system nausea pattern is real - it often peaks around weeks 3-5 and then settles as your body adjusts to the dose. Crackers and something small before the shot can help buffer it.

    8 Month Semaglutide Checkin

The 10-day wait before PT eval after rotator cuff surgery is the standard intake window but it feels long when managing the post-op pain. The 8 weeks ahead is a real commitment but most people find the PT work pays off well beyond just the surgical repair.

Healthy food gross now, junk food ok?

Four weeks off and no regain is really encouraging. The appetite reset seems to stick for a while after stopping - some people find it holds for months. Eating half what you used to suggests your habits genuinely shifted, not just the medication doing all the work.

Off GLP-1s for months – still good!

Joint inflammation reduction on GLP-1s runs via a systemic anti-inflammatory pathway independent of weight change, which is why it often shows up within weeks of starting.

I feel amazing & zero side effects! ✨

Metoprolol and Ozempic combination with zero side effects is consistent with what the community sees - BP improvement on sema tends to complement the Metoprolol effect.

    Protein shakes while on GLP's?

Protein shakes being easier to digest early on is a real factor. The gut is more sensitive and whole food sources can feel heavy. Pureed vegetables alongside is solid for intake when solid meals aren't landing.

    Ozempic prices too damn high!

fatigue usually goes away once your body gets used to it. for nausea try switching to something with B-12—companies like aliviameds have semaglutide with it. B-6 also helps nausea. sema plus B-12 injections can really help.

    Ozempic and energy levels?

melanotan 2 definitely did it for me, but i also got super sensitive to other stuff. tretinoin made me feel psychotic, botox gave me vertigo. depression showed up too, which i never had before.

GLP-1 Slow Start - Anyone Else?

I had the opposite issue. My digestive system was a disaster - 4-5 times each day. Was terrified this medication would make it worse. Instead it basically cleared it up. Now I'm at 3-4 times weekly instead.

    MJ Two Years: Still Going!

No issues jumping to 5mg. Was nervous but no new side effects. On 5mg for six weeks after four on 2.5, pounds really started rolling off around week four. Everyone's different but worth it. 🍀👍

Ozempic one year later - whoa!

weight loss that fast does make face changes obvious — same wrinkles and hollowing you'd see from any 50-lb drop. keto took me a year to lose 50 and I got major wrinkles and sunken cheeks. switched to tirz and lost more but my face didn't change as much.

    Tirz end-game strats?

hit my 6-month mark with this stuff and it's already transformed things. tracking calories, drinking water, whole foods, walking. can't wait to see where i'm at in another 6.

    Microdosing GLP-1s?

thought about going injectable? something's off here. those symptoms sound like insulin resistance. after weight loss mine cleared—cravings gone, blood sugar stable, no post-meal crashes. you're half my age, should be easier. something doesn't add up.

Real food on 1.7mg - what do YOU eat?

Dude, living on five shakes isn't the way. You need real protein sources like chicken, lean beef, turkey. Shakes fill gaps, they're not your whole meal plan.

    Downsized a cup!

First few days after shot i feel kinda rough. Before meds i felt healthy all the time. Thought losing weight would feel better, not sicker. Still adjusting.
