5 months in and feeling GREAT!

Cravings returning at 2.5mg is the clearest signal the dose has found its ceiling - bumping to 5mg at that point is the right call, not a sign the medication is failing.

    Workout routines on GLP-1s?

Zone 2 cardio and light lifting are the sweet spot on GLP-1s.

    Best time to start shots?

had a gym injury that tanked my pressing. took this supplement daily at 250mg and within 3 days it was 80% better. i like the blend even though you're supposed to take it twice a week separately—convenience wins for me.

    Seatbelt success!

Been through weight loss depression before I ever tried this. It's real. Leanness below a point just tanks mood. Could be weight loss itself in your case, or the med's effect on reward stuff. Either way, worth taking seriously.

    GLP-1 shot and vacay?

Lost 105lbs naturally over the last year with daily ADHD meds but was gaining weight before on the same dose, so the meds didn't make it happen. Started this med once I hit the slowing-down phase to maintain. Not looking back.

    Hair falling out? Vote YES!

Fatigue is normal when you eat less. body gets less energy so it feels tired. try eating more of the nutritious stuff — should help. also as you hit goals your caloric needs drop, need to reset for your new set point.

50lbs down - slow and steady!

loose skin after fast weight loss is rough, especially as you get older. collagen creams and retinol help a little temporarily but the skin can take 6 months to firm up, maybe never fully bounces back. that's just the reality without surgery.

    Mounjaro: Metabolism Booster?

Hey Sarah30, are you tracking your calorie intake closely using a food scale and an app like Loseit? I was gaining weight and couldn't figure out what was going on until I started comparing my actual intake to my TDEE.

    Mounjaro Baby: An Update!

WBC's been elevated since I started these, CRP test was 6—should be under 1. Chronic inflammation costs ten years. Maybe I'll just regain the 29 pounds, go diabetic, and outlive the junk I've been pinning for 16 months.

    Mounjaro: Metabolism Booster?

From what I understand, Mounjaro can improve insulin sensitivity, lower insulin resistance, help with fat breakdown, and potentially raise your basal metabolic rate. If you already eat healthy, adding Mounjaro could definitely be beneficial.

Sema not working as well as I hoped?

Some people respond slower than others. I felt like nothing was happening at first too. I heard that the starting doses are mainly to get your body used to it.

Sema not working as well as I hoped?

Before your break last fall, what was the highest dose you were on?

Mounjaro and Booze - Tell me your stories!

Totally agree with WellWin. It's like your body isn't getting the fuel it needs, so you feel terrible. Forcing myself to eat small meals throughout the day, even when I don't feel like it, has made a huge difference. An egg, some chicken, or even just some soup. And lots of water! Helps so much.

    Almost to my first goal!

That's so awesome, Kim_12!!! Breaking it down into smaller goals totally makes sense. It's way easier to stay pumped up when you're not staring at some HUGE number, right? Almost 35 pounds gone is epic, and you're practically there! Woohoo! 🎉🎉🎉
