    Hit my goal weight!

Kicking off week sixteen! Quick rundown: 5'7, female Peak weight: 221 (dropped 46 right before starting Reta) Beginning weight: 175 Current: 139 (6 pounds lighter than two weeks back, 36 total since Reta) First target: 160, hit it!!! Second target: 140, hit that too!!! Dose: injection number...

    Anyone tried fasting on GLP1s?

Fasted a good bit before all this, always liked how clear-headed I felt during it. Haven't done one in ages though, might actually give it a shot this weekend. Curious if anyone else here fasts while on a glp1. Only thing that worries me is breaking a fast too quickly - digestion's already...

    Down 50lbs!

Seriously well done. You look amazing, and holding steady on the shot like that is impressive. Really inspiring stuff.

    Upping dose, still lazy!

Would suggest focusing on nutrition and adding some physical activity into the mix. Give the body extra support working alongside the medication wherever possible.

For those who lost 10 kg on Mounjaro: how long did it take, and did you notice any loose skin?

Don't want the weight coming off too fast. Dropped 23 kilos over nine months, worked out to under a kilo weekly, and still ended up with a good bit of loose skin. Going faster than roughly 1 percent of body weight per week over the long haul can also bring on hair loss and gallbladder trouble.

    Ordering peps from overseas?

Saw a post claiming full stock and quick shipping turnaround for peptide orders, felt pretty promotional honestly, wasn't sure how much to trust it.

    Wegovy savings?!? 🤔 Legit?

Pretty brutal pricing over in Europe too, not exactly used to spending this much on medication here. Paying around 330 euros weekly for 10mg, for reference the priciest other prescription running through here is birth control at just 80 euros yearly.

First month on Zepbound - my thoughts

Congrats on starting out! Biggest advice, stay patient. Went in expecting instant changes and that just wasn't how my body responded. My telehealth provider did a good job setting expectations early on.

Upped to 1.7... side effects 😫

Yes, actually brought this up with my own primary doctor too, saw rapid weight drop on a similar medication as well but couldn't stand the side effects.

    Thigh injection spot?

The injection site change from abdomen to thigh is worth trying when side effects are severe at the current site - absorption rates differ between sites, and some people have dramatically different responses depending on where they inject. The thigh tends to produce slightly slower absorption...

Hungry after my dose... anyone else?

The miserable first couple months where nausea hit after every shot, and then that clearing where you could eat normally, is exactly the mechanism settling into steady state rather than the sharp hit of each dose. The OP's day of normal eating after a dose that usually suppresses is the same...

BAC vs Sterile water for Tirzepatide?

The Hospira BAC water preference in the community comes from the established pharmaceutical grade documentation rather than anything wrong with supplier-included BAC. The clouding question is actually more about temperature history and proper reconstitution technique than the BAC source. Both...

    Weight loss stalled. Help!

Occasional suppression but food noise intact at 2 months is the non-responder profile at the current dose. The dose-response curve on semaglutide specifically tends to have a threshold effect where meaningful suppression doesn't engage until a certain level - 0.5 and 1mg are where most people...

Oops - Tirz in the fridge, not freezer!

Minimizing time above refrigerator temperature for reconstituted peptides is good practice - the bacteriostatic effect has limits, and reducing total warm time is a sensible default. Bacterial growth is the practical concern to manage rather than compound degradation.

    GLP-1s: No more excuses?

the 1 percent of body weight per week ceiling is the practical version of the clinical guidance for sustainable loss - above that threshold the deficit required is either not sustainable through diet alone or is aggressive enough to draw meaningfully from lean tissue. the first few weeks on...
