    Reta first impressions... normal?

Reta at 1mg first-week responses - reduced appetite and not finishing meals - are exactly the expected pattern. The effect strengthens noticeably through weeks two and three.

    Tirz dose not working? Help!

The fatigue stack makes sense - micronutrient depletion is real at significant calorie restriction. Semax at low dose has a stimulant effect for some. The dose plateau question and the fatigue piece are separate problems that can coexist.

    Just eat less?

Timing injections to the quieter appetite window is the practical version of the 'just eat less' argument - the medication does the hunger part, and anchoring the lower-volume meals around injection day makes the whole week more consistent.

Ozempic changed my life - a year later

3 babies, body's bigger than ever. kids and life make it hard to lose on my own. was in an accident last year, moving is tough. nausea comes and goes, weird metallic taste, hangovers feel worse. only week 3, no improvement yet but hoping it'll be worth it.

    People's comments driving me nuts!

Started with branded tirz and noticed a difference pretty quick. First week though? Only lasted 3-4 days. Now I'm at 10+ weeks on 3.5mg and it holds strong all week.

    7 months on the shot!

congrats on starting! i'm round two with these meds—did Wegovy years ago, dropped 40, stopped, gained it back. been on the new one for seven months now and down 50. big thing: stay hydrated the day before, day of, day after your shot. first few weeks suck but worth pushing through.

GLP-1s and a new lease on life!

totally into this. no pressure on anyone doing standard titration - every body is different. mounjaro's not like antibiotics where too little is just wasted. worst case you don't lose weight. did 3 shots so far, down 5kg, feeling normal w/ good energy.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

Chocolate is easier to eat than normal food! I wasn't eating so I buy chocolate to get calories. I'm at goal weight and keeping it there. I'm trying to change it but there's others like me!

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

Yup! GLP-1s reduce consumption and change what you want. You can't market that, unless selling eggs, protein, or fiber. I remember my first day of tirzepatide. I always grazed. Always at the fridge. After my morning shot, I went to the fridge once and wanted healthy protein. Amazing.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

Chocolate used to destroy my diet. Chocolate and Ben & Jerry's. I have not wanted some, but I never got it and did not feel like I had to. So, I disagree, Lindt.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

The research is probably skewed, but the article was in Reuters, so I figured there was some validation. I suspect it's just Lindt hoping people think GLP-1 users are somehow buying more chocolate and that their chocolate is somehow high-end. Most reports are that food sales are down because of...

Cinnabon... Those used to be the best. Too bad they stopped selling them.

    GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

I'm skeptical about this... Sounds like wishful thinking from a certain chocolate maker. https://www.reuters.com/business/retail-consumer/lindt-says-weight-loss-drugs-users-are-eating-more-chocolate-not-less-2024-04-16/
