Reta - push to 4mg or stick to 3?

Week 8 stall on Reta is common. If hunger control is still working at 3mg, hold. If it has slipped, bump to 4mg.

    Same outfit, smaller me!

The same outfit moment is one that sticks. Congrats.

    Ozempic then Mounjaro?

Switching from Ozempic to Mounjaro at a plateau is exactly the right call.

    Upping dose, still lazy!

I respectfully disagree. While weightlifting is beneficial, it's not the ONLY way to maintain muscle mass. Dr. Ross Arena has written about the importance of combining GLP-1 medications with both resistance and aerobic exercise for overall health. It's about finding a balance and what works best...

    Upping dose, still lazy!

Find something you enjoy, or at least tolerate. I like walking my dogs, swimming, and bike rides. I also use resistance bands at home for short bursts throughout the day. I don't love it, but breaking it up makes it doable. Start small, with achievable goals. You don't need to kill yourself in...

    Ozempic for $3?!

Haha, you didn't read the small print, ProteinQueen_90. It says the monthly cost in the US is in 1901 dollars!

    Ozempic for $3?!

You can drop the "think," Patti_Real. 😉

    Ozempic for $3?!

I hear you, Slim_FTW. They put so much money into research, and a lot of it doesn't pan out. Still...

Ozempic made me stop drinking... and eating?

My doctor is really impressed with how completely sema has changed my cravings. I used to binge eat all the time, and now I just... don't. Maybe you were binge-eating and drinking, and the ozempic is fixing both at once?

Ozempic made me stop drinking... and eating?

Consider a lower dose and focus on protein and fats when you are eating. My father is losing too much weight while on tirzepatide but his doctor wants to keep him on his current dose a little longer for his diabetes, so he is eating spoonfuls of peanut butter, red meat, cheese, etc. Whatever you...

How long is YOUR bac water good for?

Thanks BlairPlus! That peptide calculator looks really useful. I'm going to bookmark that.

How long is YOUR bac water good for?

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I think I'll toss it just to be safe. Redness at the injection site is a good enough reason to be cautious.

    Pants Size Victory!

It's wild how we often don't notice the changes in our own bodies as quickly as others do. I've only shed about 15 pounds myself, and I don't see any difference, but my partner says my neck looks thinner. Congrats, GingerChews4Life! Keep up the awesome work!

How long is YOUR bac water good for?

I've been using the same vial of bac water for nearly two months now, and I've refilled my peptide vials maybe three times. How long is it really safe to use after you've stuck a needle in it, especially when kept in the fridge? I'm asking because I'm seeing some redness at the injection site...

    Ozempic Victory!

I have been on 2 mg of Ozempic for a couple years due to really high glucose levels. I went from a starting A1C of almost 10 to something much more manageable. Also lost a good amount of weight! Part of it was my medication and part of it was my insulin production.
