I totally get this. It's a different kind of appetite suppression. Sema felt more forced, while Reta feels more natural, even though I'm still not as hungry.
My personal advice: Stop taking Metformin once you increase Ozempic to 2mg. You'll be less likely to experience low blood sugar. That's what worked best for me. My A1C has consistently been around 4.6.
Quick update: I took my first Zepbound shot yesterday. So far, so good, but it's only been a day! I'll keep you all posted on how it goes. Thanks again for the advice!
I was on 1mg sema every Sunday and then did .5mg reta that Wednesday. I went up pretty slowly, making sure not to increase both in the same week. Now I'm at 1.5 mg sema and 8mg reta.
I've been on 2.5mg of Wegovy for about half a year now, and honestly, it's been a total bust. It's actually made my cravings worse! I'm thinking of switching over to Zepbound, also at 2.5mg. Has anyone else made the jump and seen better results? Thanks!
