    GLP-1: Fridge or nah?

No, the mixed vials break down pretty fast once out of the fridge. Could you find a small dedicated fridge to store your peptides in somewhere?

Doc's Insta post on Ozempic 🤔

Sadly, plenty of people carry real bias against those who are obese. Never forgotten the way medical colleagues, way back, would react toward heavier patients, that undercurrent of disgust was hard to miss. Hoping attitudes have improved some in the years since. Having gone from 145kg down to...

    Reta sides at tiny dose?

Dropped roughly 10 pounds and shrank a size or two within my first month on Tirz, though most of that landed in the opening two weeks. Things leveled off after, never really dipping further, but I'd say body fat kept trending down regardless. Switched over to Reta now, running split doses of...

Hit my goal weight! RETA rocks!

Biggest lesson from all this peptide experimenting is that dosing really isn't one-size-fits-all. I'm over six feet and 230 pounds, and my reta dose runs half of what my wife takes, despite her being roughly half my size. Point is just finding whatever actually works for your own body.

    Anyone else a slow loser?

If that's you, count yourself lucky. I got horribly sick on 2.5mg and only dropped 3kg over 90 days. Nine months in and it's still crawling along, rough since I'm paying out of pocket. If your country covers it, be grateful for that.

Stacking Tirz and Reta - Anyone tried it?

Do you run both on the same day? Is there an actual benefit stacking them? Tirz has been working well for me currently, still on the fence about adding reta into the mix though.

    Gallstones from weight loss? Ouch!

1 lb per week is actually in the range that tends to lower gallstone risk compared to faster loss rates. The plateau coinciding with this thread is likely your body recalibrating before the next drop. Keeping at the steady pace is both safer for the gallbladder and tends to preserve more lean mass.

    Backsliding on cravings on Tirz?

65 lbs on 9mg and stopping for travel is a controlled experiment on what comes back. The cravings question at 5mg in the OP is the sub-therapeutic experience some people hit when the dose stops covering the underlying appetite pattern. What does calorie intake look like right now versus when the...

Tirz or Reta First? Help a Bro Out

The systemic benefits beyond weight - inflammation, recovery time, skin quality, metabolic markers - are increasingly well-documented as the datasets grow. 'Hope and a prayer' is a bit harsh for the alternatives but the GLP-1 evidence base is substantially stronger than most of what's offered...

    11 Months on GLP-1s!

The pattern of fast loss at .25 and .5 and then a grind on the last 10-15 at 1mg is the most common shape for the journey. The body adapts more aggressively as you get closer to a lower weight - the deficit that produced results earlier stops working as efficiently. The last 10-15 just takes...

    Sulphur Burps From Heck!

Sulfur burps blocking protein intake is a real downstream problem - the mechanism that causes them on GLP-1s tends to be worse with certain protein sources. Liquid protein tends to trigger it less than solid food for most people, and egg whites specifically tend to be one of the cleaner options...

    Restarting GLP-1 after surgery?

Normal A1C at .5mg and weight held for a year is technically a good metabolic outcome even if the weight loss plateau is frustrating. The new doctor's interest in going higher makes sense from a weight loss standpoint - the metabolic benefit may not require the weight loss dose but the full...

Reta alone, or stack for faster loss?

The fasted protocol for tesa and CJC targets the overnight growth window for lean mass preservation during active fat loss. The intent is typically less about muscle gain and more about minimizing the muscle loss that tends to accompany rapid weight reduction. If fat loss is the primary goal...

New KwikPens - no extra dose!

The waste calculation on kwikpen versus syringe is a real consideration when you can see the residual - the syringe-for-the-last-dose approach trades precision for recovery of that residual. How much it actually matters depends on the price point.

Down 60lbs in 6 months - still going!

26 weeks and 61 lbs is a strong clinical response rate - that kind of trajectory without dose-escalation complications is the cleaner pattern for long-term maintenance. The 'back to old self' framing alongside lab improvements and weight change is the more meaningful benchmark than the number...
