Backsliding on cravings on Tirz?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
65 lbs on 9mg and stopping for travel is a controlled experiment on what comes back. The cravings question at 5mg in the OP is the sub-therapeutic experience some people hit when the dose stops covering the underlying appetite pattern. What does calorie intake look like right now versus when the cravings started returning?

Appreciate the kind words! Quitting nicotine brought on sweet cravings that were genuinely unbearable, at least until tirz entered the picture, now that I think about it. Still get the urge occasionally, just don't feel compelled to act on it anymore.

Funny you'd bring that up, I'm genuinely fighting off panic about it too. Bumped my third compound up to 12.5, the fifth compound to 3mg, and I've been eating like there's no tomorrow this week and last. Scale's up three pounds. Feels like I'm not even taking this drug class at all. Not nicotine withdrawal either, still have plenty on hand. Either my period's about to hit, I'm bored and low and using food to cope with not smoking, or somehow both compounds went bad or just stopped working for me entirely. (That last option seems genuinely unlikely, but I'm holding onto my sanity by a thread here.)

Currently at the top dose... Cravings crept back over roughly the past year, if that tracks... Slowly, gradually, alongside the stress, it's been wearing me down... Just hit a moment of clarity about it... Mostly because the work stress lifted, but the cravings never did...

Doesn't happen to me on the second compound, but it did when I took a smoking-cessation medication years back. Still craved cigarettes, just felt nothing from them. Same deal with drinking. Ended up stopping that medication just so smoking felt enjoyable again.

I hit the same just thing coming off tirz, cravings and sweets surged back after a solid loss. just I ended up staying just on it as maintenance instead of stopping fully, and that's been far fewer drama than cycling off & fighting cravings just again. If the med suits you otherwise, a just lower ongoing dose has worked out best in practice for me.

Same reason I take it. It helped somewhat for roughly five weeks (I didn't really want it, or felt fine drinking way less), but the cravings have come back lately. I'm in week 7 at .4mg.

Thanks for sharing. I topped out at 5mg on Tirz and most of my weight came off there. My interest in alcohol never went away, but i always have it with food so it dropped to almost nothing. Nothing good comes from alcohol, so im still trying to quit for good.

Definitely not just you. I'm struggling so much on 10mg. Both 2.5 and 5mg felt great, yet everything from 7.5 up has been awful. The intense cravings returned with a vengeance.

A few drinks each night was my normal. On MJ it became miserable: the buzz never came, and the following day i felt awful. I kept a nightly drink, but a tiny one, only a couple sips. The urge vanished while the routine stayed. Six months at 5mg now. My food cravings are coming back, and so are the alcohol ones. Fresh mojitos from the garden mint are my yearly treat. Two weeks back i picked up a huge bottle of budget rum expecting it to last forever, but im drinking a bit more each night and my tolerance is slowly climbing. I definitely have to nip this in the bud.
