Community consensus on reta titration is conservative: 2mg for 4 weeks minimum, then 4mg, stepping up only when GI effects settle. Rushing the ramp is the main cause of having to back down.
Taurine at 2-3g is worth trying before making protocol changes - it addresses the cardiac excitation pathway directly and most people report RHR dropping back within a day or two of adding it.
900 deficit with Ozempic and exercise is aggressive but the medication covers the hunger gap. Hitting goal that fast requires all three working together.
Not sure if the GHK stuff or something else is making the Botox fade faster — heard metabolism changes can do that. I'm on multiple peptides though, so could be anything.
Looking for a BPC-157 supplier for my husband's rotator cuff recovery. Had it blended before but dosing was different so not sure it even helped. Any recs?
I've learned that these medications can really slow digestion down! I ate some corn on the cob and it felt like it took 3 days to digest. I'm also being super careful with spicy foods now too. I had some ramen late one night and felt so sick the next day.
I absolutely agree with you. Taking the right approach is so important.
I also use:
* A food scale. It can be a pain, but it really does help keep me on track and prevents me from underestimating portion sizes, like with nut butters.
* I try to eat a target amount of protein daily. I don't...
I saw someone post about "ozempic face" the other day, and I realized I was feeling down because I didn't see a difference in the mirror, even with almost 30lbs gone. But comparing old pics made all the difference! Don't get discouraged if the scale is slow, the face gains are real!
When you reach your target weight, you'll be healthier because you're doing it slowly. Your skin will have time to adapt, and you'll be happy you chose this route.
I'm more interested in staying on the medication long-term. I've heard some people go off of it and gain the weight back. It makes me nervous. I've been reading articles like about staying on it forever. It seems like for some of us with lifelong struggles, it might be necessary.
I agree with Food_Free, I was on 2mg but reduced it to 1mg after a while and still saw great results. It's good to use the smallest dose that works, less side effects that way!
