Down 30+ lbs in ~4 months!

Took me five months, averaging 6 pounds per month. I'm on 5 now, hopefully going back down.

Slow weight loss on sema a worry?

Way too early to say how this will play out, and we dont know your goal. 100kg to lose or 10? Age, height, starting and target weight would help. Normal practice is stepping up every 4 weeks, and honestly I think the usual sema schedule is badly designed. It should be slower, every 4 weeks like...

    Diabetes and Ozempic Success!

It changed things for me too. Started at 63, 220 pounds, 5'5". T2 diabetes is under better control than ever and i dropped 50 pounds, 2 years into Ozempic now. Nice surprise extra: my diabetes and blood pressure meds are down to lower doses. Wishing you a great journey too!

Is anyone else experiencing 1mg pen shortages?

Called in for a generic semaglutide refill earlier, and apparently there's some kind of supply issue holding up the 1mg pen right now. Got switched to 0.5mg instead, which is annoying. Haven't seen anything about this shortage mentioned anywhere online though, is anyone else running into this?

GLP-1s and IBS - anyone else?

Dealing with this exact, and I mean identical, issue. That said, I also live with IBS, and starting one of these medications just seems to have made everything worse. Definitely a struggle. Really feel for you on this.

Weight loss without exercise on GLP-1's?

Dropped 40 pounds over five months on ozempic, with plenty of exercise mixed in. It's never fully stopped those small binges for me, but staying active enough offsets it. If it actually killed the binges entirely, I'd probably be losing 12-15 pounds a month instead.

Generic Ozempic in Canada - Coming Soon?

Hey, also up in a small northern town, though mine's over in BC. Got access to a big-box pharmacy chain where you're at? I'm paying around 96 Canadian for brand name and 93 for the generic once it launches in early June. Hoping the prices ease up for you soon too.

Back/hip pain on Tirz - anyone else?

No, not really a runner. Cardio mostly comes from cycling, walking, and the elliptical. Fairly fit for 46 honestly. Genuinely disappointing feeling those early twinges of pain starting up.

    Tirz is changing my life!

I'd personally go with tirz. Down 70 pounds since I started. Food noise stays pretty quiet, and the weight just keeps coming off steadily.

Reta or Tirz for Gut Issues?

Noticed a real difference within just one or two tirzepatide shots. Was basically living off antacids the whole time on semaglutide because the reflux got horrible.

Full Reta cycle and cycling off Reta

Probably a basic question, but couldn't find a clear answer searching around. Just wrapped up ten weeks using one particular batch of this compound and about to start fresh with a different batch, same strength and everything, is that fine to do directly or does a break need to happen first?

    Mounjaro Noob: A Cautionary Tale

Appreciate this, really helpful. Was on metformin before starting Mounjaro back in October 2024, but she had me drop the metformin once I began. She also treated it like a hard rule that you always start low whenever switching meds, which is why I'm sitting on the base Ozempic dose right now...

    GLP-1 Injection Site Matters?

Handle injections for my spouse, and he'll only allow them in his shoulders. Recommended spots include the stomach, upper arm areas, and thighs generally. Totally fine sticking with the arms.

    Reta and short breaks

We split too. Grabbed the bigger reta vial to save a bit, both running an eight milligram weekly dose off it. Beats the expiration date that way. Still feels like the later doses are a touch weaker than the earlier ones, but that beats letting a smaller vial drag on longer.

    Keeping Muscle on GLP-1s

Comparing measurements and actual gym performance here. Down 30lbs and still adding weight to my lifts. So even though some lean mass is inevitably going with it, overall I'm trending in a good direction. Worth remembering that part of the lean mass obese people lose is really just...
