TRT at micro-doses is reasonable as a starting point for muscle preservation while on GLP-1 - the synergy is there if managed properly. Beyond that, peptides like BPC-157 or TB-500 are the next tier without going full anabolic territory.
Post-surgery restart usually means retitrating from intro dose regardless of where you were before - the surgical window resets GI tolerance. At A1c 5.1, the goal is maintaining those labs more than matching the earlier loss rate.
Fantastic news! :D
I noticed the appetite suppression almost immediately. Only on week 2, and I haven't weighed myself (avoiding the scale for sane mental health). I think I've lost maybe 2lbs and already I feel lighter. Getting up off the couch and out of bed is easier, and I can walk down...
I also had my skin removal at about 160. This past August. You're going to be surprised by how thin you are without the skin. They removed 10 pounds from my midsection and more from my arms. Now I'm 133 and trying to gain weight!
The issue might be that your insurance only covers Mounjaro or Ozempic for diabetes, not for weight loss. That's how my insurance works. The only weight loss med they cover is Wegovy, but the copay is so high it's cheaper to pay out-of-pocket with a savings card.
