The protein piece is underrated. Light lifting while the appetite window is working for you shifts the composition of what you lose - more fat, less muscle. Three days a week is enough to see a real difference.
Dry January on Ozempic is basically cheating in the best way. The urge just disappears. That SNL sketch was so on point - the appetite suppression does not discriminate between snacks and drinks.
I take half a mg like every four days.
I thought about splitting it over the week, but injecting every 3.5 days sounds like a pain to me. 😅
So this way, I just do it every fourth night before going to sleep.
keep your tirz in the fridge, freeze whatever you won't touch for months. i go through a vial in 2-3 weeks so i pull two at a time. some people freeze the whole kit and grab one vial when needed. congrats on the first shot—plenty more coming.
you can't just take mounjaro and eat whatever. i had to change everything about how i eat. the med rewired my brain around food—stuff tastes different now. i eat way less, more satisfied. 100+ lbs in a year. maintenance dose works, still takes walking and real effort.
stayed on 7.5 too long even tho it wasn't working. had a bunch of pens saved up, didn't want to waste them. just did my first 10mg shot sunday. trying not to spiral - this whole thing's triggering my old scale obsession.
3rd injection of Tirz hit different. 1st and 2nd? food noise gone instantly. today after the 3rd i'm back to mild food noise, ate more, could go for something sweet. wondering if i did the shot right. on 2.5mg, week 3.
Be careful what you wish for! I used 1” 30g needles for something once, and I had to press SO hard to get it through the tiny syringe. The shot itself was painless, but my thumbs were killing me afterward!
Are you planning to reconstitute with them? I've seen 25g 1.5" and 30g 1" options without needing a medical supply store.
They get pretty bendy, though! Not sure how well that would work for intramuscular.
