    Ozempic then Mounjaro?

No 5 week wait for me: one week I stopped Ozempic, the following week 5mg Mounjaro began. I was on 1mg Ozempic though, so a slightly different situation. Mounjaro is far better for me, both for control and for weight.

Starting Reta - First Week Results?

My first 2mg shot of R did nothing at first, I figured it was a dud. By days 2-3 something shifted: not hungry, not full, just neutral, and I could stop eating once I really had to. Then two mornings in a row I woke at around 4am with headaches, which never happens to me, despite drinking plenty...

What mistakes or lessons have you learned on your GLP-1 journey?

Wanted to share a tip for getting bacteriostatic water at no cost. Simply ask your doctor to write you a prescription for it. This works assuming: Things are on good terms between you and whoever prescribes for you Coverage exists on your plan One related tip: remember to request refills while...

    Happy tears over smaller clothes!

People treat me so much better now. They smile back in passing or say hi. I'm not a wallflower anymore. Mind you I'm only a bit over 50 lbs down, 220 to 168, and my shirts shrank from 2x down to large.

BPC-157 cleared up my nine-month nerve pain almost overnight

Really impressive, the difference really shows! Can't offer motivation tips, but here's something on managing injury and pain: went through a bad accident three years back that left lasting damage to how I move and how much pain I carry, permanent, so it's something I navigate around every day...

    Transitioning to maintenance...

1mg twice weekly since July, about 11kg gone. I'll keep cutting two more weeks to reach my 8% bf goal at 86kg, then drop to 0.5mg twice weekly for a lean bulk. Likely I'll quit reta at the 2 month mark, resuming once the bulk is over.

    Just started, SO sick!

I had a rough stretch, three months at 2.5mg: constant nausea, awful stomach issues, fatigue, and only 3kg lost, I nearly quit. It only improved after I raised to 3.75mg and switched the injection spot from belly to thigh, and got better again at 5mg. I have to raise doses very slowly, so 5mg to...

    MJ 1 year: Life-changing!

Also T2D. Began MJ in October 2023, lost 65lbs, A1C fell to 5.1, maintaining since March 2025. Dry mouth was the sole side effect, otherwise a smooth ride. As a vegan I found hitting protein hard since options are limited. The key is training mind and body toward a healthy routine during...

    Stacking GLP-1s... too much?

Unsure whether you mean a GLP paired with a second GLP, or combos broadly. Kudos for starting a thread with some substance as a newbie. My rule of thumb is that fewer compounds beat more, provided it works, and extra peptides hopefully cost little. Sema got added onto my weekly 18mg Reta to cut...

2mg Ozempic - Anyone been there?

Moving to 2mg helped me, I've been on it 9 months. Another trick: I go strict on diet for a day, maybe two whenever the effect seems to fade, and that often kicks my ozempic back in. Can't explain the mechanism, it simply works.

Expired Pen? Keep it or toss it?

Kept refrigerated, the pen stays good through its printed expiration. My pharmacist explained that once it's outside cold storage for even a couple hours, the clock resets to roughly thirty days remaining. I only ever buy the larger pens and just dial in whatever amount fits my needs, usually...

    Reta killing my sex drive?

Keep telling people Reta's given me zero side effects, but this might genuinely count as one. Been feeling down for a stretch now. Mostly blamed it on packing on pounds and the dent in my self-esteem. Sex drive's also taken a hit over the past year, though it feels like it's dropped even...

A year on meds! It gets better!

Hey there, thank you so much for the kindness and support!! Congrats on your own progress too :) Definitely staying committed, especially since it's helping manage the diabetes and low blood sugar episodes... just wish the weight loss side lived up to the miracle stories everyone else tells...

    Sema's seriously changed my life!

Started semaglutide purely to lose weight. Ended up killing my desire to drink entirely, stopped impulse buying, and it's helped my ADHD and anxiety too. Plan on staying on this indefinitely, provided I can keep it in supply.

    Backsliding on cravings on Tirz?

Doesn't happen to me on the second compound, but it did when I took a smoking-cessation medication years back. Still craved cigarettes, just felt nothing from them. Same deal with drinking. Ended up stopping that medication just so smoking felt enjoyable again.
