It's great when you start, and I wish you good luck! I've had good results - about 30 pounds lost in 3 months, very few side effects, and still on a pretty low dose.
I honestly think I trust stuff sourced directly from overseas more than from a third party here. There are more opportunities in the supply chain for problems to happen.
Everyone reacts differently to the starting doses - some people feel the changes right away, some don't feel anything. My meals gradually got to be about half of what they used to be. Honestly the biggest thing for me is to listen to your body and stop when you feel full. Much harder than I...
Wow, that's intense. It's so important for people to understand everyone reacts differently. Always be aware of mental health changes, too. If you feel off, talk to your doctor ASAP.
I read that this orforglipron lowered A1C by an average of 1.3% to 1.6% in trials, and people lost about 8% of their weight. Those seem like solid numbers.
Oops, I totally misunderstood for a sec. I thought you meant levothyroxine users had to inject. Now I get that you meant the waiting part. (I have to take levothyroxine because I had my thyroid removed.)
It's not about trust for me, Pat_75. A ton of people just can't stand needles. I still think sticking with injectables is the way to go, even when this new pill gets approved.
So, Eli Lilly is aiming for FDA approval for an oral weight loss med before the year ends, based on their phase 3 trial results. Apparently, a pill showed significant weight loss. Here's a link to the article...
I tried it years ago. Gave me a lot of energy, but ruined my sleep. Lot of people have to stop taking it early on. Only buy a month's worth to test it. Lower doses might be better. I personally didn't have much appetite suppression.
