Half a year down!

193 to 138 in six months is a 55-pound run. That's a real result. 'Gotten smaller everywhere' is exactly what 55 pounds of loss looks like when you're in it.

The crossover design makes interpreting raw trial results tricky. When the placebo group receives the active compound partway through and some of the treatment group shifts to placebo, the final data reflects mixed effects rather than clean long-term outcomes. The personal six-month result in this thread is real-world data that a crossover design can't fully capture - individual outcomes on the timeline they actually happen on tell a different story than the trial endpoints.

Year and a half of consistent work shows in results like this. Starting movement back in after the cut phase is the right order - the medication gets the weight going first.

193 to 138 in six months is a strong data point for what's possible starting from that range - the mental health dimension adds meaningful weight to the outcome beyond the scale numbers.
