Half a year down!

193 to 138 in six months is a 55-pound run. That's a real result. 'Gotten smaller everywhere' is exactly what 55 pounds of loss looks like when you're in it.

The crossover design makes interpreting raw trial results tricky. When the placebo group receives the active compound partway through and some of the treatment group shifts to placebo, the final data reflects mixed effects rather than clean long-term outcomes. The personal six-month result in this thread is real-world data that a crossover design can't fully capture - individual outcomes on the timeline they actually happen on tell a different story than the trial endpoints.

Year and a half of consistent work shows in results like this. Starting movement back in after the cut phase is the right order - the medication gets the weight going first.

193 to 138 in six months is a strong data point for what's possible starting from that range - the mental health dimension adds meaningful weight to the outcome beyond the scale numbers.

Same here. Snapped a few side profile shots of my stomach back in October. Now there's genuinely no comparison since it's nearly flat. Sixty-two, female. Helps that I started doing planks once or twice daily starting three months back. Even built a dedicated playlist for it.

Congrats, the weight loss speaks for itself, but the part that really stands out is the confidence and happiness coming through in your writing. Six months of staying consistent is genuinely a big deal.

Also love seeing updates like this from further along, it reminds people just getting started that real change takes time, not overnight magic. Easy to feel discouraged a few weeks in, so posts like yours show what's possible if you keep going.

Here's hoping whatever comes next treats you well, holding steady, adding muscle, or simply enjoying life in a body that feels good.

Hi, mind if I ask something? Totally fine to skip this one. But you're basically my exact body type, started at the same weight even, and you're 20kg down now. Same belly shape as me too. Does that area ever actually shrink down properly?

Just want to point out, six months in and only 12 lbs down here. So clearly not everyone drops weight rapidly. That assumption's a pretty big misconception.
