One year on this stuff...!

Research wasn't to current standards. Much hasn't been redone but mostly cause no one tried. It's a guide for future. Some has safety data for individual researchers. Wish we could gather actionable data from the people doing this stuff. Imagine a formal protocol.

Dentists and surgeons always need way more numbing agent with me too. My pain tolerance has always been high even before starting this stuff, so I don't think the medication changes how I respond to anesthesia.

The filtering habit is cheap to build while nothing has gone wrong - retroactively adopting it after a contamination incident is harder. That said, plenty of people run the whole journey without it and the quality from established sources has made the risk genuinely low.
