Research wasn't to current standards. Much hasn't been redone but mostly cause no one tried. It's a guide for future. Some has safety data for individual researchers. Wish we could gather actionable data from the people doing this stuff. Imagine a formal protocol.

Dentists and surgeons always need way more numbing agent with me too. My pain tolerance has always been high even before starting this stuff, so I don't think the medication changes how I respond to anesthesia.

The filtering habit is cheap to build while nothing has gone wrong - retroactively adopting it after a contamination incident is harder. That said, plenty of people run the whole journey without it and the quality from established sources has made the risk genuinely low.

Congrats on how well you're doing! Genuinely inspiring to see someone hold their results a full year out without doing anything drastic. Hoping I end up somewhere similar to you eventually (minus the gallstones and breast reduction!)
