Down 40+ pounds since Feb!

That's amazing progress! What else were you doing besides the medication?
It's a good question. I've found that even small dietary adjustments make a difference on these meds.

I've been on Rybelsus for a month and dropped around 10-12 pounds! It feels so good, though I did get a little off track last week. Hopefully this month will be just as good!

Tried subq injections thinking it'd help with loose skin like laennec did for scars, but honestly it's helped my overall skin texture more than tightness. Still got some droopy bits under my chin from way back, prob need actual surgery to fix that.

Hit a wall for a year on ozempic after dropping 40 fast. Went 0.75 to 2mg, nothing budged, felt awful on 2. Switched to mounjaro and it's been steady—4 months in, another 20 down for 60 total. Food tracking + eating MORE actually helped way more.

40 pounds since February is a pace that tends to surprise people when they look back at photos - the internal adjustment lags the actual change by months, and the decade-off comment is usually the first external confirmation that breaks through.

140 on a starting dose with no side effects and still trending down is genuinely rare - the thread should hear that story.

40+ lbs since February alongside blood sugar stabilization is the combined result that makes this more than a scale win - the diabetes management side is the part that compresses on every other health metric. Taking a decade off while doing it is the kind of thing that doesn't fully land until someone else points it out. The nausea-as-hunger signal is exactly right and it becomes intuitive after a while.
