Reta kinda working? Still unsure...

Too soon to call yet. Takes some folks longer to kick in. I didn't notice much at first either when I used a telehealth provider.

Delayed response is common enough to warrant a few more weeks before adjusting anything - early signal can still build into real suppression.

Nausea at day six means it's active - full appetite suppression usually follows the GI adjustment by a week or two.

Day 6 at 0.5mg is very early - the suppression effect for reta typically starts showing more clearly around week 2-3 at that dose. The nausea you felt this morning is actually a signal it's working. Craving pizza at day 6 doesn't mean it's not working - the full appetite change takes longer to establish. Splitting doses early like you did can extend the side effect window, so it's worth giving a consistent dose schedule a few weeks before adjusting.

Four days after first dose for the second pin is reasonable spacing for the first week or two - you're still mapping how your body responds. The weekend timing buffer is smart. Give it a few more weeks before drawing strong conclusions about whether it's working.

4th dose at 1.5mg is still the very beginning. A day or two stall at that point is just the body adjusting - the full picture usually takes a few weeks at a consistent dose to be readable. Don't change anything yet.

The thirst signal suppression alongside hunger suppression is one of the more important things to actively work around - the medication doesn't just reduce appetite for food, it also reduces awareness of fluid need. Scheduling water intake by time rather than waiting until you feel thirsty is the reliable fix.
