Novo & Hims - Friends now?

Word on the street... Novo Nordisk is gonna let Hims & Hers sell Wegovy and Ozempic. This comes right after they were suing them a month ago because Hims had a cheaper alternative. Crazy, right?

So basically, they offered a more affordable option, got slapped with a lawsuit, and now everyone's back to paying full price? Typical. Unless you bought the HIMS dip!

Classic big pharma move, honestly. I'm just waiting for the generic version of Semaglutide to hit the market. Hopefully, it'll be way cheaper, like under $100 a month.

I'm hoping we see more telehealth companies filling this gap. Like, you fill out a form, a doctor approves it, and boom, you get your meds. At least the ones that aren't as regulated, anyway.

Anyone see this coming? Sue them to stop them competing, then partner up to maximize profits? Gotta love it.

Guys, I just read that a huge chunk of Ireland's exports to the US are now weight loss drugs. Insane, right? Apparently, the US now gets almost half of Ireland's total exports.

Ugh, more expensive meds? I just saw some worrying stuff about potential trade issues that could mess with access to Ozempic. Fingers crossed it's just internet rumors!

Oh great, just what we need. More political BS messing with our healthcare.

Someone pointed out that people *can* get sema from compounding pharmacies in the US too, which is good to know. Hopefully that stays an option!

nelko p21 for like $18 on amazon, works perfect. i label everything vendor/size/flavor & love it. cheaper than the niimbot & has better reviews.

Lost the urge to finish everything on my plate-used to clean everything because I paid for it. Now comfortable stopping. Friends appreciate lunch with me more knowing I won't want their chips.

Echo and Convi going away alongside the Hims deal is probably connected. The channel shift usually takes the boutique formats with it.

the point about telehealth platforms not manufacturing what they dispense is worth keeping in mind when evaluating partnership announcements - the clinical access layer adds prescription coverage, consultation, and logistics, but the compound quality is still a function of which pharmacy the platform sources from. knowing the actual compounding pharmacy behind the prescription matters more than which platform is selling it
