Reta - When does the magic happen?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Reta hit me pretty hard right from 1mg too - almost uncomfortably strong appetite suppression in the first week. I had to actually remind myself to eat. Everyone responds differently though so not seeing the effect at 1mg doesn't mean it won't come at a higher dose.

Starting at 2.5mg and hitting 4mg without much suppression and then cagri switching things up is useful to hear. Reta alone at those doses not doing much is more common than the forums suggest. What did the hunger feel like differently once cagri came into the picture?

2mg to 3mg for 4 weeks with no movement and prior Tirz experience in the mix - prior Tirz can sometimes mean the receptor pathway needs longer to show up cleanly on Reta. What's appetite doing, any difference there even if the scale hasn't moved?

286 to 266 in 1.5 months before adding Reta and then 5.3 lbs and 2.5 lbs in the first two weeks on it is a strong early response. 4 weeks at a given dose is enough data to make a meaningful decision on whether to adjust. What did decision day land on?

On shot six now, four rounds at 2.5mg and two at 5mg, still haven't had a single side effect. Starting to wonder if something's off with me. Down about 4-5 kilos total over these six weeks, honestly a bit let down by that.

That '1 to 3 days' claim is a massive exaggeration for most people honestly. Some don't feel anything positive until doses climb a lot higher. A handful feel it almost instantly. Most people land somewhere in the middle.

Give it time.

Appreciate it! Going to see how the next injection sits with me, honestly even this current level of quieter food noise feels unusual for me. Also a bit hesitant to titrate up too fast, worried about what side effects might show up.

Just took my third shot today, type 2 diabetic here, and honestly zero side effects, no appetite change either. Barely two pounds down so far. Pretty frustrating.

Should've stuck it out honestly since not everybody reacts the same or at the same pace. Seen these meds work incredible things for plenty of people, but patience is key. At least give the stronger doses a fair shot. Takes some working with.

Had entire weeks where the effect just wasn't there. Zero appetite suppression, made me second-guess whether the injection went in properly. Happens sometimes, could just be an off dose. There's a whole thread floating around somewhere covering this exact pattern, people feeling different from one week to the next or between alternating doses.

Kicked things off six weeks back with the fifth and first compounds. Feeling fantastic so far with solid appetite control. Began the fifth compound at .50 mg for the first month, then bumped to 1mg roughly three weeks ago (still going well). Curious about trying the mitochondrial peptide next. Wishing you luck on your own path.
