EasyTouch vs BD...syringe recs?

Use the 5mg vial, then work out your math with the BAC and syringe size to dial in your dose. This calc helps: https://calc.injectionshop.com/

Started taking notes the first week but quit fast—same as with workout notes. I should probably keep going. Today I somehow got blood in my injector during my shot. Managed to transfer most of it to another cartridge without the blood bits, but weird. Notes would've helped figure that out.

daxxify lasted way longer on me when my clinic trialed it, but they dropped it 'cause cost was too high. on dysport regularly and it's holding strong, no faster metabolism than before.

pinned in my love handles today and 6 hours later had a welt and redness around the site. didn't put as much bac water in the syringe as usual.

Totally normal, nothing to worry about. I treat those days as strategic re-feeds. I inject Sunday so suppression peaks mid-week and fades by Saturday. Moved my leg day to Sunday so I'm fed and hydrated going in, then inject after. It prevents metabolic adaptation and just works with your body's cycles instead of fighting them.

31g 8mm is a solid standard spec - hits the right balance of flow rate and comfort for subcutaneous injection. Good to know Costco carries them directly rather than having to order specialty.

The needle tips versus syringes confusion is an easy mistake when you're not familiar with the product line - injection shops sometimes stock both and the packaging is similar enough to grab wrong. Worth double-checking the product code against what you actually need before ordering.

the Florida shipping restriction on needle purchases is a real friction point that catches people off guard - it's a state-level policy that applies unevenly across retailers, which is why some brands ship and others don't from the same platform. medical supply companies that specialize in diabetic supplies tend to have better knowledge of state-specific rules and often have workarounds for licensed use cases

Not around here, and the only makes I use are Easy Touch and BD. I keep 100 of each size in ET, that's .3ml, .5ml and 1ml, and the same count in BD for .5ml and 1ml. The ET .3ml ones are my favorite by far. Some Amazon syringes I tried long ago felt like pushing in a framing nail. I pay under $15 a box of 100 at a medical supply shop, which is a good price.

That pharmacy chain's a solid idea. Anything works where this is.

Never considered that particular store for syringes, probably since their pharmacy counter never gets used. Usual errands there and out the door fast, before impulse buying takes over.

Yep, agreed. I tried a few cheap Amazon syringes and hated them, dull needles and plungers that stick. If a Costco or Sam's Club is close by, and your state doesn't have silly syringe laws, go there. Easy Touch boxes go for under $12 at both, no Rx or membership required.
