Hit my goal weight after 16 mos!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Been on it fourteen months reached my target. Spent tons on clothes this past year. Started in size 18 jeans XL tops. Got to 10 in December bought several pairs. After Christmas they were huge bought 8s. Now those are big bought 6s yesterday. Never thought I'd fit smaller than 10.

A historical maintained weight is a better anchor than a BMI calculation - the body knows that composition and the path back to it is less ambiguous than working toward a theoretical number.

Same starting weight and matching BP readings chasing the same goal at a completely different life stage is such a good reminder that 15mg gets people there regardless of where they started. Titrating up monthly to get there is the patient approach. How did the BP respond as the weight came off - did it track down alongside the scale?

The gradual dose-finding approach on the way down is the smart way to find your maintenance floor. Dropping a small increment monthly gives you a signal at each level before cutting further rather than stepping down too fast and losing the effect before you can stabilize. 16 months to goal is a meaningful benchmark.

Off insulin and A1C from 9 to 5.4 is the headline result in a T2DM-plus-HTN-plus-Long-Covid picture - all the overlapping conditions probably amplified each other's inflammatory and metabolic load. The 58 lb reduction changes the downstream picture for every one of those simultaneously.

Completely agree. Been running 2 IU of growth hormone for four months now. My bone density score climbed from -2.0 up to -0.6 over the first eight weeks, so sticking with 2 IU and rechecking labs every couple months. Trying not to push that number above zero. Sixty-six year old guy here, also on 180mg weekly of testosterone plus tirz and reta. Hormone panels look great and my workouts keep progressing.

How old is the original poster anyway? His mother's active in here too? If he's in his twenties or early thirties, is growth hormone or a secretagogue even something that gets recommended at that age? This drug class, a calorie deficit, and hitting the gym four to seven days weekly, that covers pretty much everyone's needs honestly. Lost 95 lbs on tirz alone myself before growth hormone or testosterone therapy ever entered the picture.

Really cut down my cravings for alcohol. Went from heavy drinking once or twice weekly to maybe once every couple months now. The other surprise was how much it regulated my digestion. Food used to move through me way too fast, now that's uncommon.

Just a bit short of my target weight but planning to stay on a small maintenance amount, somewhere between 2.5 and 5mg, purely for the digestive perks going forward. Stretching a larger dose across several months feels like a worthwhile tradeoff for what I'm getting out of it.

Congratulations.

You're doing amazing. Keep it up.

Diabetic for twenty-seven years myself, my peak dose ever was 19mg. Been on the dual-action medication since March. Sitting at a healthy BMI and weight consistently across the last eighteen months or so. Genuinely transformed my blood sugar control.

You've got this.

Wishing you continued success.

My time on 15mg started in December 2024. Goal weight came in July 2025, 100lbs lighter and Im still on 15mg. My reason for taking it is keeping my type 2 glucose in check, weight is secondary. Its almost as if an internal switch flipped when I reached goal weight, and I havent lost or gained since. Lowering the dose has crossed my mind, yet it keeps my glucose well controlled as is. No more loss, and the scale shows my ideal number. Side effects: none. On the other hand, were obesity my reason for taking it, Id probe for the minimum dose.
