Anyone else getting "used to" Sema? It slowly stops working for me after 2 years.

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Been using rybelsus for about two years now and it worked absolute miracles at first. Gradually worked up to the max dose and lost a solid chunk of weight. More movement, better food choices, and above all, cravings just disappeared. Some unexpected upsides too, less inflammation, no longer needing my usual allergy medication, and last summer barely sweated at all thanks to lower body temperature, when before excessive sweating was normal. Now, keeping weight off keeps getting harder. Appetite's returned, sweet cravings are back, body temperature's climbed again, this summer heat's been way harder to handle even while still notably lighter than before, and allergies flare occasionally requiring medication again after going completely without for over a year. My body's clearly adapting and I'm slipping backward, which I hate. Don't want the constant food thinking returning, and genuinely loved the lower body temperature and skipping allergy pills. Anyone else dealt with this?

Hey, a stall like this sometimes just means your body's found a temporary resting point, even after such a steady, quick drop before now. You clearly respond well at lower amounts, that's encouraging. Since you're already splitting a 15mg pen, a modest bump, say 5.5, 5.75, or 6mg, could be enough to calm the food chatter without a major cost increase. I went through something similar around 2.5mg where cravings crept back, and nudging up to 3.25 then 3.75 later fixed it. Smaller steps keep the budget hit reasonable too.

No idea how rough your hunger feels though. Mine gets genuinely hard to sit with, so I'd rather adjust the dose than push through it. Was traveling somewhere all-inclusive around Easter and loved eating freely without that mental hunger alarm going off. Would've been miserable dealing with that racket the whole trip. Dropped a little weight that week too since I was relaxed, swam nonstop, zero cravings. Worth a small bump if that's what's wearing on you.

Made the switch back in August. Started low on tirzepatide and worked my way up gradually. Sema had me completely stalled beforehand, and honestly the bottom dose of tirz barely moved anything either. Once I climbed higher though, the scale finally started shifting again.

Pin 4mg reta Sunday, 1mg sema Wednesday, 4mg tirz Friday.

Reta broke my stall, might nudge it up slightly, sema kills food noise, tirz helps inflammation.

Been on glp meds over four years, maxed sema more than two years back. Switched to tirz but food noise never fully went away, so added sema back. Stalled again once reta became popular, dropped tirz and added that instead. Hands started hurting again even with the four-part blend, so brought tirz back too, landing here.

Also had several surgeries last year, came off everything for three to four months then restarted, which is partly why I feel like I understand what each one does for me now.

Sounds excessive and might not suit everyone, but it's working for me.
