switched from wegovy 0.5mg to grey market 10mg vials. medication itself? no difference at all. still getting the appetite control and losing weight, just way cheaper. prepping the pen yourself is the trade-off—calculating your own doses, but if you do the math twice, honestly 99% of people are fine.

Splitting 1mg to 2x0.5mg works if you mark the plunger. Fridge door is fine - cool not frozen is what matters. The expiry question is actually the harder one than the split.

Each pen holds several doses. You can dial in either .25 or .5 with those. Keep it refrigerated and it'll stay good right up until the expiration date.
