Stacking sema/tirz - anyone tried it?

I'm on MJ and thinking about adding Tesofensine. Anyone have experience with this combo? Did you take it orally or via injection? My doc is open to it and suggested it; I'm just doing some research.

I tried Teso. The appetite suppression was really minor and it messed with my sleep way too much.

Been stacking sema and tirz each week. Was stuck at 15 on tirz alone. Fingers crossed this dose bump does the trick.

Did tirz! Tried stacking it with sema first and got so nauseous. Then attempted cagri but I think the dose was way too strong. I was basically down for 3 days straight.

My doctor threw out the idea of combining it with something else to shed those final pounds. Did some research on other combos too. Might be worth exploring what works for your situation.

A handful of people here have tried it and shared results but there's no clinical framework for dual-GLP stacking. Most who do it go low dose on both and watch closely. No safety data either way - worth knowing what you're getting into.

Stacking sema and tirz isn't well-studied as a combination - the concern is that dual receptor overlap amplifies both the GLP-1 effects and the side effect profile. Most people who've transitioned across find the cleaner approach is a washout period before switching, rather than running both concurrently. The palpitation reports on tirz introduction are real and worth knowing before adding it on top of sema.

17mg tirz and adding sema at 0.5 to 1mg is a real data point on the stack working at those doses. The crossover mechanisms make the combination interesting for people who have hit a ceiling on either one individually. How long before you started noticing the sema adding anything the tirz was not already covering?

starting low and titrating up slowly on the stack is the only way to do it safely - jumping doses on either when running both simultaneously is where sides compound badly. does anyone else feel kinda drawn to the next dose timing? that tracking feeling is actually useful on a stack because you start to know exactly when each one is fading. how low did you start each and how long before bumping?

Two Tirz per week with 1-2 Reta added is a reasonable stack structure. The split Tirz approach you're already running makes the Reta add more predictable because you can time it between the Tirz shots. What dose of Reta are you planning to start with?

Never actually tried Sema, so honestly some of the appeal is just trying something new. Been on Tirz since December and haven't had any real side effects worth mentioning. Might dabble with .125mg Sema twice a week, might just switch over to Tirz fully, might decide stacking isn't for me at all, or maybe cagri instead, or Elora whenever I manage to get my hands on some, and let's be real, I probably will eventually.

Can't speak to how well switching to tirz works since I went the opposite direction, side effects pushed me off it and sema's been fine for me so far. They do make you restart from the lowest doses again though, at least that was my experience.

Ran 10mg on a five-day cycle for a stretch without trouble. Best appetite control came from layering in a touch of sema shortly after each tirz shot. Cagri does the trick too. Cycled through all three at different points chasing better suppression. Every one of them got me to goal eventually. Good luck out there.

Eight weeks running tirz Sundays and sema Thursdays. Kicked off on sema alone back in early April. Titrating up like recommended brought brutal nausea, so my doctor suggested tirz, but since I already had sema stocked up and didn't want to waste it, I ended up running both. Slowly shifting from .5mg sema and 2.5mg tirz down to .25mg sema while pushing the tirz higher. Four months in, ten pounds gone, nearly all of it in the last two months once tirz entered the picture. Both meds wipe me out fatigue-wise though, so I'm moving to same-day dosing hoping that shrinks the window where I'm too drained to function. Seems like each drug does something different for me too, sema kills the food chatter better, tirz keeps me full without making me feel sick.

Nope, and nope.

Tolerance isn't something I worry about with any of these.

Never tried the single-pathway option before, figured I'd give it a shot, and it went fine. Layering the dual-action medication on top would've likely worked too, probably with fewer side effects even.

Was running 5mg of the dual-action compound when I transitioned over to the third one.

Anyone dealt with rough side effects switching someone from sema down to a micro-dosed tirz? My daughter only made it to 1mg of sema and would be wiped out and sick for three straight days after each shot. Thinking about transitioning her to a very small tirz dose to see if that avoids those harsh reactions. Her mom ran tirz for a full year with barely any side effects.

Planning to start around 0.5mg weekly and titrate up slowly from there. No rush on this, time isn't really a constraint. With the sema pens we had zero control over dosing. With tirz I can load it into a pen myself and dial in the exact amount, which also happens to make it easier to give her the shot without her noticing the needle as much. Hoping the dual-mechanism action lets us get a real response even at a low dose while keeping side effects minimal. Have a 15mg vial and plan to reconstitute at least the first one to a concentration where I can adjust in tiny 0.05mg steps if needed.
