Another goal weight adjustment!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Jealous folks sabotage because your shifts make them uncomfortable about themselves. Someone said worried about my loss. I'm still 185 nobody's skinny. Just smiled, said intentional, got another 20 to goal. Horrified reactions haha.

was on sema 4 months, weight wouldn't budge. in a deficit and nothing. switched to tirzepatide, month 3 now and finally down a few pounds, hopeful. sema made me discouraged. everyone else melting off and i'm stuck. give it more time or switch to tirz, though it costs more.

Hard to see progress when I'm still so far off target. Started my weight loss journey around 399 last May. Began semaglutide in September at 376. My next goal is another 100-115 pounds down. Tracking with Starfit body analyzer.

The pace slowing in the later months is expected - the body adapts. The final stretch to goal is usually the longest part proportionally.

225 to 150 in a year at 5'2" is 75 lbs and well past the original goal, which is how goals shift - the body sets a new reference point as you approach the first target. The 5-to-6mg step is a small increment and reasonable if the current dose has stalled. One week at 5mg before stepping is long enough to confirm the stall is real.

21 lbs in 5 weeks at 328 with sleep apnea resolved already is a very strong early signal. You absolutely fit here. The OP's goal adjustment from 225 to 150 is the trajectory you're at the beginning of - the sleep apnea resolving that quickly is one of the first health markers to move before the scale catches up fully. How slow has the dose titration been?

When I first started I set 225 as my target, wanted to keep expectations realistic about where things would land. Ended up revising that number more than once before finally landing somewhere I genuinely felt happy and healthy. No need to lock in your final destination right out of the gate.

You sound genuinely happier these days, congrats on everything you've accomplished!
