Guy here, former athlete, turning into a different kind of athlete later in life. Originally my target was a number I figured I'd never see again, the 250lb of my early college days. I hit it and it felt nothing like I pictured. Things kept going well so I lowered the goal to 225, high school weight, and hit that too. I'm much closer to a body I believe I can reach, so I'm done thinking about numbers. I still chase a look, but summer's coming, so performance nutrition is next on my mind. I'm curious how I'd look minus the skin damage that years near 400lbs left. Twice this decade I lost 100+ lbs, so skepticism comes naturally, yet lockdown times feel like a special case to me.
