Stall for Months

Had rapid weight loss initially, dropping close to half my starting weight. Been on mounjaro roughly three years now. Despite staying on a strong dose, gained back a meaningful chunk over the past year. Just can't seem to budge regardless of what gets tried. Sixty-two years old, average height, and currently sitting well above where things stalled. Any tips for kickstarting things again? A1C has stayed excellent this whole time though, down dramatically from where it started.

Hang in there, it takes time. Took me close to three years total to drop 130 pounds, though my A1c went from 11 down to under 6 within just six months. Didn't see the scale really move until I hit 7.5, then it suddenly felt like magic. Got stuck at 250 for half a year, had to overhaul a bunch of habits, and now I'm at 220 and still moving, currently running 10mg.

Sitting at 2.5mg for two and a half years now. Down 80 pounds total, and my A1C dropped from 11.7 to 5.7 in that time. Zero metformin, zero insulin in the mix, just the Mounjaro carrying all of it. If your current dose is getting results, there's no rule saying you have to climb higher.

Going through the exact same thing. On M for two and a half years, lost a solid amount but stalled for the past year. Still running 15mg just to keep things in check, otherwise my appetite goes wild. Managed to hold my weight steady through the stall, but no calorie deficit plan I try seems to budge it further.

Been on the second compound for one year and eight months, down 70lbs, roughly 23% off my peak. Started at 2.5, currently sitting at 7.5.

Hit two separate plateaus along the way.

Things worth trying:

Bumping the dose (though this is genuinely my last option, even listed first here)

Switching injection spots. My thigh works best personally, but rotating through a few different sites for a stretch can help. (Stomach injections give me rougher side effects)

Shift your injection day to whenever you're least around food. Used to do mine on weekends, but that's exactly when snacking temptation is highest for me. So I moved it midweek, meaning the day before and the day of I'm stuck at work. No fridge or pantry access, just whatever lunch I packed.

Log what you eat. Stopped doing that after the initial months, but going back to it really helps push past a stall.
