Scared to start Ozempic!

Did you take that anti-nausea medication before symptoms hit or after? Haven't done my first dose of the single-pathway medication yet (starting in three weeks), but I've used that anti-nausea drug before, and from my experience it needs to go in before you actually start feeling ill. Tempted to take one ahead of my first shot and keep it in my system through the first day, but also curious how I'd handle things without it. Genuinely scared of getting sick like that though. Read, and heard from a pharmacist, that your body can need a couple doses to adjust. Also starting at the smallest entry amount, which worries me too. So sorry you went through that. Hoping the next one treats you way better!

Severe emetophobia here, the fear of throwing up is genuinely overwhelming, borderline unbearable. But this particular medication has never triggered that side effect, started at a higher weight and now down considerably. Genuinely love this medication. Worth trying! The starting dose they use is really gentle.
